Where do I enter my first Epic in Jira? I will be running a scrum team and need to know how to get started.

Click "create issue" and select Epic as the issue type!

If you don't have Epic on the list (or even no "create" button), you'll need to talk to your administrators about the configuration of the project!

Hi Joanne,

you can create Epics like any other incident in JIRA.

Just click on "create" on the upper mid of your screen. Then you can choose the type of your new backlog item. Here you can select the type "epic".

I hope this will help you.

Cheers, Lars
