Portfolio Time Tracking

Hello

We have Time Tracking enabled on Jira Software. We have Original Story Points and Story Points populated for our Story Level (Hierarchy in Portfolio = Initiative/Epic/Story). We are also converting our story points into hours as part of the Portfolio Config.

We would like the team to log time against the assigned Story as they progress with the work, but we are not seeing this updating in Portfolio. I.e. if a task has 8 original story points (which amounts to 8 hours in Portfolio) and I have logged 2 hours to the task, I would expect the story points in Portfolio to be adjusted to 6 hours - but this does not happen.

Can someone shed some light for me on how the time logging in Jira Software ties back to Portfolio? I've read a few articles and it looks like the Story Level in Portfolio (i.e. Issues that aren't parent issues) are either 100% or 0% done. Please can someone confirm this or give me some pointers on how I can get this working.

Thank you!
