How do I get different issue types into the Portfolio Hierarchy?

**Using Portfolio for Jira add-on**

I can't get Initiative to come up in the Jira issue type options in the Portfolio Hierarchy. I want this issue type above Epic. I created the Initiative issue type myself and set it as standard. But it is not coming up when I try to configure the Portfolio Hierarchy.

Hi Michael - Are you able to create an issue with type of Initiative in a JIRA project? That should help you narrow down if it's setup correctly or not.

Yes I created the Initiative Issue Type myself and it is being used in a Project.

Make sure the project is included in your plan source, also have you re-indexed Jira since adding this?
