Roadmaps

Infrastructure December 9, 2021

I am running Jira 8.7 Server. The team is looking to get roadmaps enabled. I do not see it in the applications list.  How can I get it installed (enabled)? Do I need to upgrade?

Hello @Infrastructure ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Advanced Roadmaps (aka Portfolio for Jira) was bundled into Jira Software as of 8.15.

You'll have use of this until Jira Server goes away in 2024.

Thank you.

Robert, we performed the upgrade of Jira to 8.20.3.

The trial license was expired for Advance Roadmaps, thus requested a new license.  Unfortunately, Atlassian is not giving out any new Advance Roadmaps licenses: only renewing current ones about to expire.

They are forcing us to migrate to the Cloud, if we want access to Advance Roadmaps.

Actually, the license needed for access to Advanced Roadmaps on on-prem instances is Data Center.
