JIRA Advanced Roadmap ranking

Hi there, I hope you are well.

Recently I experimented with JIRA Advanced Roadmap and the results were that:

1) JIRA Advanced Roadmap has a different ranking system to the project roadmap itself and rank changed in one JIRA Advance Roadmap does not affect other JIRA Advanced Roadmap.

I always thought the ranking has a global effect and did anyone has more insights?
