Is it possible as an Admin of a JIRA Project space to disable the Backlog view?

Edited

Hey folks,

I was prompted to activate the Backlog for my project space but have determined that we do not need this functionality. Any advise as to how to deactivate it or disable it?

Thank you!

So, you're saying you need to en- / disable the Backlog for your JIRA Board?

Here's how to do this for Kanban based ones: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwareserver/configuring-columns-938845277.html#Configuringcolumns-enablingkanbanbacklogEnablingtheKanbanbacklog
