How to easily define dependencies in Jira Portfolio?

Its very cumbersome to add and review dependencies the way it is. Please allow for the following:

  • Ability to add dependencies at the initiative level
  • Add dependencies without entering the details view and searching a long list. Just add a column to the backlog view with dependencies so its easy to review / add them while you see the full backlog sorted the way you want it. Typically the dependent epics are around the one you are looking at, why the need for a text search in a separate textual-sorted list?
  • Ability to review and add dependencies directly from the graphical view (e.g. lines connecting dependent items).

Thanks

Ran

This is impacting us as well and adding a lot more manual effort. Do you have an update on the means to add initiative level dependencies?

Hello Ran, I am also in need these features. Before I saw yours, I had just posted this question: "Is there a quick way to enter issue dependencies?"
