How can I automatically create a story on epic transition?

how can  I link a Theme to a Story?

2 answers

Hi, you can link a thema to a Story, following this steps:

1. Choose Reports in the right upper corner.

2. Switch Report to "Themes"

3. Add your Theme

4. Return to Scope

5. Add the column Themes

6. Link your story to the theme

Does this help you?

Hello,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

Unfortunately, JIRA does not have the functionality to automatically create a story when an Epic is transitioned, however, you can achieve it using some plugins.

My recommendation is to use Automation for JIRA and configure a rule like this:

Automation for JIRA (Server)

Automation for JIRA (Cloud)

Please, let me know if this is the feature you are looking for.
