How do I exclude weekends from the timeline view in Advanced Roadmaps? I found old documentation that suggests you can set working hours in the "Configure" menu for your plans, but I don't see the option available anywhere.

Hi @Colby Handy and welcome to the Community!

The functionality and documentation you are referring to refers to the older and by now retire live plans. In the new interface, the focus for capacity plans has shifted to the number of available hours of the entire team per week, and no longer on the capacity of individual team members or the exact days of the week when they are performed.

You may start from this support article to get a grip of how capacity is conceived in the new planning interface of the tool.

Hope this helps!

I hear what you're saying, but weekends are still vital information to include/exclude based on how planning is handled team-to-team.

For instance, my team does not work on weekends and currently I need to manually allocate 2 additional days to account for the weekend on the timeline view if their work is slated to start on a Friday and has an estimate of 2 days (ends on Monday) while my actual capacity planning is handled based on the estimates provided and their available working hours per week.

I wish the option was at least available to account for the different ways people want to view the timeline of their plan, especially since it was a feature that was previously included as a part of it. :( Mostly just complaining because I've had to explain the discrepancy from the estimate and what the timeline view reads many times to people unfamiliar with how this works.
