I am testing the hosted version of Jira, and the emails are not being delivered. I thought the SMTP settings did not need to be configured for the hosted version of Jira. I read this question, but there doesn't seem to be an answer. Any help would be appreciated. We're planning to start our QA process by this weekend.

Have you assigned a notification scheme to your project? Test emails should work regardless though. Is it possible these emails are being discarded as spam?
That was it. Thanks! Now if only I could find where I configured it, so I can get it working with the other project.
