Mikus Valdbergs April 4, 2012

Hello,

Our OnDemand Jira trial is about to end in few days. We are happy with trial but would like to continue with Jira Download. Is it possible to export data from OnDemand account (users, projects, issues etc) for seamles migration to downloaded Jira?

Regards,

Mik

Hi Mik,

If you raise a ticket in the OnDemand project at http://support.atlassian.com then Atlassian Support can create an export for you that you can use to import into a download instance of JIRA.

Hope that helps?

Andrew.

Note that this answer was true at the time of writing, but now customers can download their own exports at any time. See https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/AOD/Backing+up+and+exporting+data for more information.

Just to give an updated answer on this subject: the whole migration from JIRA Cloud to JIRA Server is documented here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Migrating+from+JIRA+Cloud+to+JIRA+Server

Cheers,
Felipe
