Our user picker stopped working after we migrated our JIRA server to a new network location (new IP, new routes, etc). New network location does not have outbound connectivity to the internet so we're using standard JAVA proxy configuration settings. (http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRAKB/Configure+Web+Proxy+Support+for+JIRA)

Strangly enough our group picker still works fine...

Has anyone seen this before? Any idea where I should be looking for problems?

Hi Alex, as far as i understand the user picker it gets it's data from the embedded crowd so it's not quite clear how the new network configuration could interfere with that. Have you already checked this http://confluence.atlassian.com/plugins/viewsource/viewpagesrc.action?pageId=265901203 ? Maybe you have hit some user limit?

Thanks Dieter, you were 100% correct. We just went over 5000 users during the same weekend we performed the network migration -- so just a coincidence that led me down the wrong path.

Many thanks good sir.
