Rest Api for onDemand

casmeiron February 8, 2012

Hello,

I would like to know how can I enable the REST API for my jira onDemand instance? I have to integrate with legacy systems and REST will be used for that.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Paulo,

The REST API is enabled by default in your OnDemand instance, however to check that it is enabled, (and to disable it if you wish), then you will need to go to the Administration panel of your instance and enable/disable it there. Specifically you need to go to:

Administration > General Configuration > Set Accept remote API calls to either On/Off depending on your needs.

You can also check out our documentation on the Rest API, (for the currently bundled version in OnDemand), by visiting this link: http://docs.atlassian.com/jira/REST/latest/

All the best,

John

http://docs.atlassian.com/jira/REST/latest/ related to the latest JIRA *Server* while https://docs.atlassian.com/jira/REST/ondemand/ related to the current JIRA Cloud. For example current latest released JIRA server is 6.4.11 while our JIRA Cloud version is 7.0.0-m03 So, the right URL would be https://docs.atlassian.com/jira/REST/ondemand/

Is it possible to access the Tempo tracker data with the REST API somehow? I would like to extract automatic time reports via the API.
