Source tab missing in Jira in combination with Stash

Mark de Bont May 11, 2014

I am in the process of upgrading my Jira 5.x to Jira 6.2.3 together with Stash 2.12.x and GIT. Upgrade went well and I am even seeing the new Development tab showing the Commits and Pull rquests etc. but I am missing the "Source" tab!

I've followed the tips on : https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/STASHKB/Troubleshooting+JIRA+Integrationbut nu "Source" tab either.

Note: I am NOT using Fisheye / Crucible.

So what's the problem?

Been getting grief for weeks from developers as to why the Source Tab has gone. No amout of messing with the integrations has fixed it. No we know, it's by design, but was hidden in the release notes very well.

Hello,

The Source, Reviews, and Builds tabs have been deprecated in JIRA 6.2. The information from these tabs are now being shown in the Development panel.

https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/JIRA+6.2+Release+Notes

https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Integrating+JIRA+with+Code+Development+Tools

That's why you can no longer see the Source tab.

Kind regards,

This is odd, I just saw the source tab and it showed information from Bitbucket.  When I click on another tab in the section (eg History) the source tab disappeared and I cannot get it back.  Was this feature re-introduced in Jira 8?
