I have a project that is pretty much done and winding down. We are still fixing existing issues, but we are not accepting any new issues. Is there a way to stop users from creating new issues for a specific project. I tried removing the permission for creating issues, but the change was applied across my entire environment. I just want to stop users from creating new issues in a single project.
You'll want to create a new permission scheme to apply to that one project. If you have admin permissions go to:
Administration -> Issues -> Permission Scheme
Then copy the permission scheme that is associated with that project. Edit the copy to remove "create" permissions. Then apply the copied permission scheme to the project you want to restrict.
Thanks, that was the solution.
