We have some 500 projects in Jira, and now I need to assign a "Searchable" group to all projects, so that the search engine indexing user has access to all of them.

The REST API does not seem to have a way to modify project permissions, and I didn't find a bulk change action for all projects in the admin interface.

Did I overlook it? Can I give a group access to all projects at once?

Hi cweiske

If you only use one permission scheme you can simply add the group there.

Best regards,

Peter
