Clone from Bitbucket to SourceTree error: This is not a valid source path / URL

Roy Peulen August 22, 2013

Hi,

I'm traying to clone a Mercurial Repository from Bitbucket to SourceTree, but received the message in SourceTree:

This is not a valid source path / URL.

Any idea how to fix this problem?

Thanx in advance!

Hi Roy,

Things to check in this instance is that the URL is correct, i.e. the URL provided by the Bitbucket repository itself, and if you're using a SSH URL that your keys are set up correctly and your public key is set up for access to that repository on Bitbucket's side.

If you could check those first and then we can look deeper into the problem.

Cheers!
