I mistakenly closed a sprint but need to reopen it. Is this possible?

See here for a feature request.

Vote for it people, and it will bump up the priority.

Nope. That feature does not exist. The closest you're going to get is to re-add issues from the previous sprint into a new sprint. You could use the WAS operator to check for issues that were in a specific sprint.

You are right about REOPEN feature, indeed, it doesn't exist. At least until this moment.

But, I'm afraid you also cannot use WAS operator for help yourself on JQL, specifically for sprint consulting.

If you do that, you'll receive the error message below:

  • History searches do not support the 'sprint' field.
  • History searches only support string values.

Hope it helps.

Cheers! ;D

Hey there,

For clouds user, this functionality have been introduced . The function will be introduce soon in JIRA server.

You may create a temporary filter in your board to list all the issue that is in the previous sprint and reassign those to a new sprint

Cheers,
