How could I miss this great article - thanks Fun Man Andy (again and again) - awesome start for wonderful TRELLO! 😎

Hi @[deleted] that's a bit more tricky - a solution is to 'hide' it * Open up confluence admin * Go to Custom HTML option & edit. * Paste the following code into the HEADER section <style type="text/css"> #action-export-word-link{display: none} </style> Pay attention - that only hides the button but doesn't really disable…

Hi @[deleted] what you can see on your screenshot is only meant for a single article - you can export any article to word or pdf. Talking about permissions you mentioned is about exporting the whole space - as pdf and admin rights. -> original documentation about space permissions here and about exporting content here Do…

Nearly missed the countdown - love the calendar and it's one of the highlights in community of the year 😍 Thanks to @Thomas Schlegel @Bridget Sauer and @Mandy Ross for this - love the idea behind this years countdown.

Hi @[deleted] we had an interesting presentation at our usergroup in Munich in May - it was about data security law in Europe but when you watch the video of the presentation from the lawyer (around minute 16:10 something) you see their confluence and how they use at their law office and for their clients. They use it for…

Hi @Lima Jebathilagar where did you put the mentioned CSS in ? In the article they mentioned space stylesheet for saving - when you saved it in the space stylesheet it will only be used in the space. If you wanna use it for your whole system you have to use in your global stylesheet you will find here:…

Thanks @Olivia_Tournois for sharing your solution with us. Always those faulty html macros - shame on them! Thanks for thanking on me - actually didn't give any help ;)
-
Hi @Michael Woffenden you may want to set a feature request here in JIRA as a 'Suggestion' directly at Atlassian after checking if there's already a similar request for this feature. Couldn't find one with a short check yet. By the way I may also find this useful - but there's already a list function in task macro which…

Hi @Olivia_Tournois i had similar problems but different causes.... What could be a problem is 'Collaborative Editing' or 'Synchrony' you may wanna have a look on that! yoursystem/admin/confluence-collaborative-editor-plugin/configure.action What also caused some problems where different versions of same page people worked…

What may be the easiest way would be putting everything on the same page and just navigate via TOC macro. You could put every Headline 1 in flat on a single page - just an idea!
-
That's what I wanted just around to write @Johan Soetens _Dumblefy_ was faster ;) If you just want to show parts of a page you may use Excerpt and Excerpt include macro
-
Hi @Shannon Engler I also stumbled across this and it's a mess that search function is not given in anymore (hopefully it's 'not yet'). There is a workaround mentioned by @Helen Gosper mentioned in this post here. It's more like a copy&paste of an existing page but it's working - hope this helps. Good luck!

@Jodi LeBlanc an inspiration and role model for all of us - what a great time to be part of this wonderful community
-
Hi @Rob Horan hmm - I understand your concerns about an image page but we made really good experiences with this. Think of all the advantages of centralized image management - you need to change the one image used in template? You change it on this one site - bam it's changed on all the other sites. You don't generate…

Hi @Nardene new editor is all about Confluence Cloud - macros Info, Tip, Note and Warning should still be available. When you're in editor try '/' to get the list of available macros. Also have a look here! ('+' should also work) Hope this helps!
-
Damn - I really read over this.... Do my old boxes of Lego count - I still enjoy? Only thing is I feel like I lost some of my creativity I had in my younger years.... maybe it's because you don't have so much time 'left' anymore... don't know
-
Missed this wonderful topic on friday - I enjoy playing videogames whenever it is possible... Love the Super Nintendo mini, Mini NES! When it's bad weather outside - I enjoy playing all parts of Super Mario for hours like when I was young (and damn that was a long time ago)
-
Thanks @Bill Bailey for this great article - I love the opportunity given by usermacros. How could I miss this great article - already looking forward gain more experiences. Thanks to @Davin Studerfor sharing this article!

Ok that's really interesting - what came to my mind when reading your mentioned points is timeout in system and that you got kicked out. Maybe you wanna contact your confluence admin and talk about this issue. Another problem may be that syncrony is not proberly - so when other people are working in the space too -…

Hi @Raheema Kadwa welcome to this wonderful community. I've got several questions: * Are the changes in order you made saved? Means it is not shown but it's still done. * Where do you do the order editing and how? * Are there any other problems with saving in your system? * Do you get any error messages before saving? Best…

Hi @Robert_Bergman ok that Cloud Editor grrr thing sets everything in a totally new light. You got me here. You can easily copy the page -> see here. (Copy Pages) Then set it as homepage like it's described in documentation here. (Set another page as your overview) Sorry for first getting you wrong.
-
Yeah - let me know how it worked out :)
-
Another idea might be using page property macro if you're using blueprints and modify it. Then get page property report with needed information! Hope the best for you!
-
Hi @[deleted] another option I'm using is the user macro written by @Matthew J. Horn mentioned in this post here. I used it on parent pages in 'Excerpt' macro (status hidden) created a watching page where I used 'Excerpt Include' macro for the pages. It works fine for me. Macro gives you back: * Title * Version * Last Date…
-
Thanks @Sharon Helms I was so confused!
-
Hi @Robert_Bergman welcome to this wonderful community Copy is never a good option. You can set any page as Space Homepage -> see end of documentation here (Set another page as homepage) Another option could be using ‚Page include‘ macro which would mirror the whole content of a page to another page. If something is…

Hi @Ashkan Malekly feel free to contact me on LinkedIn for more information. It‘s a pretty little coding with a high benefit

Hi @Anna Knutsen where do you want to put this button at? Because when you put it on your template it would just lead to the page just created (a loop ;) ) Better would be using macro 'Children Display' on main page with create from template macro button Everytime you create a new page the new link is shown in Children…

Ah ok - understand. I don't think there is a out-of-the-box solution for that. We got a solution from our Atlassian partner where we just defined a page for first-time login users. It worked fine! You could also reset the users by name, groups or all users and define another page. It is really comfortable. Maybe you also…

Hi @Ashkan Malekly did you have a look on editing site welcome message yet? You can also use a page for Dashboard -> have a look here on how this works. There you can maybe have an entry for new users and lead them to a page/space specially created for them. That's how we do it! If you need more help - feel free to ask.
