If you want to reproduce what you have in a staging environment the best method to make a backup and restore. Here is how to build your staging environment. Other than that, you can use some third party apps in order to copy some configurations from one environment to another (Example: Configuration Manager)

Difficult to help with only this error message. Can you share some logs? do you seen any errors in the logs? Have you tried cleaning Jira cache and restarting?

I would suggest using a theme like refined. This app allows you to customise your customer portal and I have used so many times in order to get the user to read the documentation first before asking for help. 

A screenshot may be helpful in order to troubleshoot. What version of JSD are you using? Normally you can adjust the period for the duration you want. 

If child pages were created before the restriction, the link you sent won't work. Restrictions are inherited if child pages are created after restricting the parent page. 

Have you tried automation for jira in order to set the field value? 

Now (November 2021) it is definitely possible to do what you want using Automation for Jira app that is natively integrated in the Cloud. 

The only what I can think of if by using a market place app like eazybi for example.

I would suggest to use automations in order to do that. Do you have automation for Jira installed? If yes, you can use it. Here are some examples.
