Hi Dante, First thing is to go to the logs in order to see what happens (Home Directory > Log > "you will find logs there". And then you can share them and we can help. cheers

The case is that the same client has multiple teams (A1, A2, A3, A4 ...Etc). For each team, when a team member raises a request we have to : * Assigne the request to the Team leader of the team to whom the user belongs (roles can do nothing here, I think) * Give the permission to only this user (Team leader) to…

Hi Ronan, You are right. Templates can be customized/enabled/disabled/promoted per Space. The screenshot below shows how :

Hi Matt, I do not work for Atlasssian. I'm working with an Atlassian Partner but I'll be glad to help you out. PS : Can't give my number in this forum. Cheers

Hi Nick, I would suggest that : * Define an "organization" for your high level customers (so that all theses customers belong to the newly created organization) * Set a SLA goal using JQL based on the newly created organization (Organization = "NAME OF YOUR ORGANIZATION HERE") et voila hope it helps cheers

Hi Matt, As any system, Jira requires you to understand some basic concepts. Afterwards it is quite straight forward. In order to do what you want you have to follow these steps : * Create all your fields, as custom fields (You have to be JIRA Admin) * In the Field Configuration used by your project, you can set what field…

Hi, Users (and groups) fetched from your LDAP don't have any access until you configure them to have access to your Atlasssian applications. So if you want to begin using your LDAP fetched users/groups you have to grant them access to your Atlasssian applications and then assigne them to project roles according to your…

Hi Brian, I think the easiest way to do what you want is by using Jira Automation by following these steps : * When : "Issue Transitionned" * Add new condition : "Compare condition" {{issue.status.name}} equals "YOUR STATUS" * add a "Branch rule" (on Current issue")* Add new condition : "Compare condition" {{issue.Custom…

Yes @Joe Pitt you r right, using project roles is better and advisable. Using a specific user, although permitted, is not a very good practice. But there are a lot of situations where are forced to assign to a specific user and only give the permission to that specific user in order to transition the issue. Of course, with…

mmm sorry, you don't have access to the database if you are using the cloud version. You can try this instead. Paste the following URL in your browser, and then search for your field Id : https://Your-JIRA-URL/rest/api/2/field<br>

Hi Eddy, You will find a detailed explanation here. Resolution : One of the following options: * Grant the users that need to create issues through e-mail application access to JIRA; * Register the users in JIRA's user base with a different e-mail address; * Setup anonymous issue creation, and then control who is…

Hi, Yes you can without using any third-party add-on. In fact JSD has a powerful automation engine that you can use to create a rule like this : * When : "Status Changed" * If : "Issue Matches" and you choose the status that you want or even you set the JQL Query that you wnat * Then : "Send email" * To : "Reporter" *…

For more information, see this link. The two conditions (1 & 2) are mandatory in order to see…

Hi Ezaru, I would say that the best practice is to have a reverse proxy installed (Apache or Nginx) so that this proxy will handle the FQDN. Moreover it is advisable to use SSL. You can follow one of these tutorials, depending on your choice (Apache vs Nginx) : * Integrating JIRA with Nginx * Integrating JIRA with Apache…

Hi Temur, As you will notice by reading some documentation, it is not really possible to make full customization of the URL. My advice is to use a proxy, so your customers/clients can use the URL that you want. Please read this documentation and even this one too. Cheers
