You've got the right idea how to approach this! Defining a custom pipeline for each test you want to run, and then triggering those inside of the webhook-triggered pipelines is the way to go. I'm not sure why it's not resulting in multiple build statuses here though. Can you paste in the curl command you're using to…

Sorry for the delayed response. Can you try a slight variation fo your command for your local debugging. docker run -it --volume=/Users/myUserName/code/localDebugRepo:/localDebugRepo --workdir="/localDebugRepo" --memory=4g --memory-swap=4097m --entrypoint=/bin/bash python:2.7 Akin to these…

Are you using any service containers or the Docker build and push functionality? This will *also* use part of your 4GB of memory for the build. (1GB per service container) (See here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucket/use-services-and-databases-in-bitbucket-pipelines-874786688.html ) EDIT: This was a bug. It's…

There was a bug introduced to npm 5. @Ergun Polat I've found three potential work arounds for you. 1. Use a node:7.* image. (This uses npm 4.x) 2. Running "npm install @angular/cli" (without --global) before running it again with the global flag seems to also work. 3. Upgrade the npm version to at least 5.1.0. The issue is…

Hi Ben, The generated SSH keys for Pipelines are not automatically set up to be able to have access to your repository, which is why you are running into these issues. You will need to give the generated SSH key access to your repository, in a similar way to other SSH…

Just to extend on what Johannes said: Bitbucket Pipelines uses a "shallow clone" by default to clone your repository into the build environment. If you have a large repository, a shallow clone will decrease the amount of time it takes for you repository to be cloned into the build environment. Typically you will only need…

I'm not sure how git-settimes gist works. But it may be running into issues due to timezone differences. Your local commits may be on a different timezone to Pipelines. Pipelines runs on UTC. Your idea here makes sense, but maybe timezones are making things problematic for you here?

You can track your build minutes by: * Clicking on your profile picture on the top right of Bitbucket * Select 'Bitbucket Settings' * Scroll down and select 'Usage' under 'Bitbucket Pipelines' Only the user, or admins of the team, that installed Bitbucket Pipelines can see the usage.

Pipelines has a component on Bitbucket's StatusPage. Which you can see here: http://status.bitbucket.org/

You are right about Bitbucket Pipelines not running run.sh. You can run it inside of your build instead. Try the following bitbucket-pipelines.yml: image: tutum/lamppipelines: default: - step: script: - bash /run.sh & # Start the MySQL, run.sh is located in root directory - sleep 20 # So that MySQL has time to start up. -…

Hi Jennifer, Bitbucket Pipelines does not currently support building iOS apps. By local build machine I assume having your Pipeline hook into another machine to run some commands? That is currently not support yet either. You can follow this issue to see when Pipelines supports this functionality:…

Add this statement before you echo the PRIVATE_KEY: mkdir ~/.ssh Does that help?

Out of date response. Content here still works, but is much more work to set up. See this for an up to date solution: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Bitbucket-questions/Re-How-can-I-use-SSH-in-Bitbucket-Pipelines/qaq-p/764824/comment-id/25670#M25670 -------------------------- Old method There's a few steps required to…

Hi Albert, The example in the answer for this question shows how to clone a git repository from Bitbucket. https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/39243415 Try following the steps here and see if that helps.

Nice job! I'm just going to add some additional information for anyone looking into a similar problem: Pipelines determines the status of your build by reading the exit code of your bash commands. The find command here had wrapped the execution of the dotnet tests, but didn't seem to be propagating the exit code from the…

You can find information on environment variables here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/BITBUCKET/Environment+variables+in+Bitbucket+Pipelines Specifically, you'll want to read the "User-defined repository variables" section. To quote the part you're probably looking for: You can add, edit, and remove variables…

I would highly advise against storing your private key as part of your repository, for security reasons. I think I know what was going wrong for you (I also had to battle this for a while). Firstly, delete the SSH key-pair you are using now. It's in your repos Git history and is no longer able to be considered secure. The…

It should be fixed for you too now. But if not (let me know if you're still seeing it), installing dependencies (such as grails) as part of you pipeline, or burning them inside your Docker image, should be a sufficient work around.

My apologies @Kashif-Ur-Rehman. That was a bug that we accidentally introduced into the system last week. Specifically, we made a change to the way that we mount volumes inside the Docker container of your pipeline. We were able to detect, revert, and fix the issue before it was exposed to most of our users, but you seem…

@Kashif-Ur-Rehman can you rerun that Pipeline? Is that issue still occurring?

This issue has been fixed now.

Hi Misel, I've looked into this, and it is a known issue at the moment. The Bitbucket Pipelines team is tracking the bug here: https://bitbucket.org/site/master/issues/12956/i-cant-write-to-build-directory-when-user You can 'watch' the issue to get notified when it is fixed.

You can already use SBT inside of Pipelines! Try adding the following to your bitbucket-pipelines.yml file: pipelines: default: - step: script: - apt-get update - apt-get install apt-transport-https - echo "deb https://dl.bintray.com/sbt/debian /" | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list.d/sbt.list - apt-key adv --keyserver…

Can you add some more information, I'm not quite sure what you're asking? What do you expecting to see stored in your repo? Do you mean the result of the build (such as an executable file)?

Hi Mark, This resource, http://boto3.readthedocs.io/en/latest/reference/services/s3.html#S3.Client.put_object, says that the Key is: Key (string) -- [REQUIRED] Object key for which the PUT operation was initiated. And according to, http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonS3/latest/dev/UsingMetadata.html, an "Object Key" is: When…

Hi James, Pipelines overrides the CMD in order to run the script in your bitbucket-pipelines.yml file. To emulate our Docker run command you can look here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/BITBUCKET/Debug+your+pipelines+locally+with+Docker#DebugyourpipelineslocallywithDocker-Step2:LogintoyourDockercontainer You…

Would you be able to paste in the contents of your bitbucket-pipelines.yml?

Hi Grant, Bitbucket Pipelines environment variables are currently immutable. So you are unable to modify them during your build. In regards to having the version numbers, you should follow this issue for updates: https://bitbucket.org/site/master/issues/12838/build-number-that-increments-on-every If you need a unique…

Hello, There are two Atlassian Docker images: * atlassian/default-image: This is used when no image field is provided. Your pipeline will run inside of this image. * atlassian/pipelines-dvcstools: This is used to clone your repository from Bitbucket, so it will always be used during a build. We will then mount the…

Hi Karthik, I assume you are using the default configuration for Bitbucket Pipelines?
