Fix is deployed for this now, so you can remove the command now if you need. :)

Can you try adding unset NPM_CONFIG_USER to the start of your build? We did some infrastructure changes that seem to be affecting a subset of npm builds. We're currently working on a proper fix for this, but for the time being you can try the above workaround.

Hi Ryan When did it start breaking, and what's the error message you're getting? Thanks, Phil

Hi Aris, Bitbucket Pipelines checks out the relevant branch for your branch pipeline configuration. For example: pipelines: branches: master: - step: script: - cat Dockerfile # Will print the Dockerfile on master branch. staging: - step: script: - cat Dockerfile # Will print the Dockerfile on staging branch. Try it out for…

Hi Rajat, Can you try replacing you caches section with the following? definitions: caches: - pip This will use the default caching directory pip modules. As noted here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucket/caching-dependencies-895552876.html By caching /opt/python, you're also caching all the binary files. Which is…

Hi Elliot, Is this still occurring for you? Do you have any existing schedules on the repository? If so, how many? If this is still a problem, can you open a support case here: https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/ Please ask the support engineer to escalate it to me and I'll have a look in more detail (this smells like…

Hi Hieu, I'm not familiar with Android deployment flow. Do you have an example of how you do it locally, including CLI commands. We can probably come up with something from there. :) Thanks, Phil

Hi Ian, It is not possible to run docker with the --privileged flag. This is a security constraint due to our architecture. As mentioned here we have no plans to support this operation in the foreseeable future. Thanks, Phil
-
Hi Jonathan, Thanks for being diligent with your security practices. And sorry for the delayed response. I'll go into more details, but the short answer is that your concern won't be an issue, assuming you don't add any secrets as part of your docker build process. Pulling the Docker Build Image When pipelines runs your…

Can you try the following? - apt-get install -y lsof - kill `lsof -t -i:9545` Out of curiosity, why do you need to the close the port here? (Rather than letting the build teardown handle it.)

Hello, You can sort on latest builds with the "sort=created_on" query parameter. For example: https://api.bitbucket.org/2.0/repositories/{username}/{repository}/pipelines/?page=1&pagelen=10&sort=-created_on Thanks, Phil

Hi Peter, Can you try the following YAML. I've annotated the changes I've made to your artifacts: pipelines: branches: master: - step: name: devbuild image: centos:7 script: - yum -y install git - curl -LO https://storage.googleapis.com/golang/go1.10.3.linux-amd64.tar.gz - tar -C /usr/local -xvzf…

Hi Andrew, Currently it's not possible to restrict which user can perform a deployment. We have an open feature request here: https://bitbucket.org/site/master/issues/13676/ability-to-restrict-who-can-run-deployment Quoting Matt: This is on our medium term roadmap, and we're planning to have a solution available by the end…

No problem. :)

Hmmmm... Lets try some dumb things to investigate... Change ssh user@ip "cd /path/to/repo && sh utils/deploy.sh" to ssh user@ip "cd /path/to/repo && sh utils/deploy.sh && echo $?" && echo $? Lets see if the exit code is correct on your server, and what SSH returns. SSH is suppose to propagate the exit code. But will be…

I'm struggling to reproduce this. Can you add your bitbucket-pipelines.yml here?

Hi Miroslav, We have an open feature request here that you can follow: https://bitbucket.org/site/master/issues/15362/enhance-deployments-to-support-flexible Any related updates will be present here. The current limitation of 3 environments was merely a point that we could iterate on top of, once we understood our…

Hello Hamdi, Currently you cannot manually trigger parallel steps in Bitbucket Pipelines. If you're interested in such a feature, can you open a feature request here with some details of your use-case: https://bitbucket.org/site/master/issues/new Thanks, Phil

Hi Alex, I don't use npm frequently, so it's possibly I've made a mistake somewhere here. npm has some different behaviours depending on what command you run. But in general npm follows the dependency rules set in your package.json. Here's a reference of how the rules…

Can you try adding set -e to the start of your bash script?

The related errors are going to be near the end of the log output. Can you paste them into this question for further debugging?

I suspect the exit code inconsistency is going to be related to this issue: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Bitbucket-questions/In-Bitbucket-Pipelines-why-doesn-t-get-the-expected-exit-code/qaq-p/612957?utm_source=atlcomm&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=immediate_general_answer&utm_content=topic See if that helps with the…

Not at the moment. We decided not to automatically stop already running deployments as a deployment being stopped halfway unexpectedly would likely be a cause of issues for that deployment environment. Hence pausing newer ones instead. We'd like to get a better understanding of use-cases before committing to a solution, as…

Bitbucket Pipelines now supports deployment concurrency. You can find more information here: https://bitbucket.org/site/master/issues/12821/limit-concurrent-pipelines-so-deployment?_ga=2.107981314.1848967244.1530489631-825437565.1515570924#comment-45346024 We've set it up to pause new deployments when a deployment is…

(I'm just commenting and marking as answered so anyone searching can see this is resolved from the search results. Good job figuring it out) Answer copied from above: Hi, (before this was a question, but now simple answer for old simple question) image: maven:3.5.2 pipelines: default: - step: name: Package client…

Hello Nick, Currently the Pipelines/HipChat notification doesn't provide user mentions as a configuration option. You can open a feature request here if this is important to your team: https://bitbucket.org/site/master/issues/new Thanks, Phil

That means that the known_hosts contains the incorrect information for your site. Have a look here for a more in depth explanation: https://askubuntu.com/questions/45679/ssh-connection-problem-with-host-key-verification-failed-error You'll need to check your SSH client is accessing the correct known_hosts file on…

Looks like you have a couple errors. The first one is that the SSH key can't be find. Can you try run SSH without "-i ~/.ssh/ssh_key", as it's not in that location. It should be located in "/root/.ssh". The other issue is that you won't be able to have an interactive terminal in Pipelines. (how would you interact with it…

We shipped multiple steps in 2017, so your approach is correct. And in my opinion, cleaner.

For the: bash: ssh: command not found error. You need to install ssh before you can run it. Try adding these commands to your script. apt-get update -y apt-get install -y ssh Lets see where you get after that. If things are behaving then hopefully your build will hang on the bash command. (Watch it and stop the build so…
