Hi, Pipelines provides no mechanism for restarting the Docker daemon. You're going to need to figure out a workaround that doesn't need to do this. Which the Docker documentation suggests there aren't any. I'd suggest opening a ticket here to track being able to interact with the Docker…

What Docker image are you using in Pipelines?
-
Actually. The 'print $2' doesn't seem to be working as expected here. That seems like a candidate.
-
Hmmm. Nothing stands out as suspicious. Is the issue reproduced if you run this inside of a Docker environment? Pipelines runs in Docker, so it should be an identical environment here. https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucket/debug-your-pipelines-locally-with-docker-838273569.html

Hi Theodoros, Can you try run: <span>apt</span><span>-</span><span>get</span><span> install -y php</span><span>-</span><span>mysql<br></span> when you download your dependencies. This looks related to the issue…

Hi Didier, I'm not familiar with Lucee, so I can't provide any specific guidance here. Have you got this working already locally? If so, you can move all your script commands into a single shell script file checked into your repository, and then execute that script from Pipelines. Lucee appears to be a JVM based framework?…

Hi Harris, Thanks for pointing this out. There was a validation error in the documented configuration. I've updated the documentation so that the example is actually valid now. Thanks, Phil
-
When you run this locally do you see similar errors? If not, can you share the relevant parts of your build.xml here?
-
Is this issue still occurring? (Just wondering if this was a bug that was fixed) Also, you may want to check out this guide at some stage for a more straight forward way of setting up SSH keys: https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucket/use-ssh-keys-in-bitbucket-pipelines-847452940.html

Hi Aliasksandr, Caches do not reupload if it was already downloaded for a step. Caches are only uploaded if no cache was available for that step. So your assumed situation shouldn't be happening as frequently as you suggest. Are you seeing differently? Your cache should still have shared dependencies between them. Some…

Hi, Can you see what happens if you remove the dotnetcore cache from your configuration? Specifically remove this: caches: - dotnetcore And any corresponding references to the dotnetcore cache in other steps. However, were there any commands/errors after the cache error? Caches failing to download should not cause your…

Hi Sergei, Rerunning individually steps is currently not supported. However, we are currently investigating it as a feature to implement soon. You can follow its progress here: https://bitbucket.org/site/master/issues/14917/rerun-step-in-pipeline Thanks, Phil

This is probably because you've installed the gcloud command into your base directory on your build. When you change directories, bash doesn't know where to find gcloud. You can fix this by running this command in your build. export PATH="$BITBUCKET_CLONE_DIR:$PATH" You can learn more about PATH…

Hi Jon, There's no easy way to do this that I'm aware of. If you have some time to play around with REST APIs and git hooks, you might get some ideas from this talk: https://youtu.be/3IIaOj1Lhb0?t=986 I've linked to the Pipelines specific part of the talk, but you'll need to probably watch the whole talk if you think…

Hi Greg, You can check the branch that's running at the start of your build and fail from there. For example: - if [ "$BITBUCKET_BRANCH" != "master" ]; then exit 1; fi - ... #the rest of your script Thanks, Phil
-
Hi Michael, Parallel steps currently cannot export artifacts. We've currently designed it with speeding up test steps at the moment. However, you can import previous artifacts into parallel steps. For example: pipelines: default: - step: name: Build artifacts: - dist/** # artifacts are copied to all parallel steps script:…

You may also want to look at this question for information on cloning another repository into your build environment: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Bitbucket-questions/How-can-I-use-SSH-in-Bitbucket-Pipelines/qaq-p/347345

Hi Stefano, Can you run the 'env' command at the start of your build. You should see a list of environment variables and their values. $BITBUCKET_BRANCH should be populated. It is probable that it is being incorrectly referenced somewhere, making it appear empty. Which command does it specifically appear empty in? If it's…

Can you please format your code with the "Code block" format option in the future. I've formatted it for you here: (There may be some mistakes) # This is a sample build configuration for Java Maven. # Check our guides at https://confluence.atlassian.com/x/zd-5Mw for more examples.# Only use spaces to indent your .yml…

If you were looking in the UI, then the branches will appear to be merged if there are no commit differences between them. Once you start making new commits to your branch you should see that they are in fact not merged. As Ana mentioned, we currently do not have an auto-merge feature. So, you shouldn't need to worry about…

Docker image caching is now an opt-in feature. Are you still having issues with timeouts?
-
Are you building a .NET Core application or a general dotnot application? Bitbucket Pipelines currently only support .NET Core builds. This is due to our infrastructure only supporting Linux at the moment. We have a feature request to add Windows infrastructure support that you can follow…

Hi Toby, Test coverage reporting is currently not supported in Bitbucket Pipelines. Our best workaround at the moment is to publish them externally, e.g. to AWS S3, then link the URLs as a custom Bitbucket build status: https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucket/publish-and-link-your-build-artifacts-872137736.html You can…

Also you may wanna check that your PIDs are still output as expected if you use: ps aux | grep '/[r]ace_bot/' | awk '{print $2}' | xargs echo
-
Can you double check the output of "ps aux | grep '/[r]ace_bot/' | awk '{print$2}'" on Pipelines? You've got everything else to compare except that at the moment.
-
Adding onto Aneita's response. You can use the Bitbucket REST API as a workaround if this is important functionality for you. But this will be a bit more work to set up (and may not suit your specific use-case). You can use the build status API to check if another Pipelines has been run against the commit that's currently…

A bot account is just a regular Bitbucket account on your team (lets call it "Wall-E"). You can add the public SSH key to Wall-E's account. Then add Wall-E as a team member to repositories that you need Wall-E to write to.
-
Adding on to Aneita's answer, for now you can also parse out the repository from the Git remote URL as it has the repository link in there. This will allow you to have a repo name instead of the uuid.

Hi, This looks like a related question: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/1099981/why-cant-python-find-shared-objects-that-are-in-directories-in-sys-path See if following the steps there helps with your issue. Specifically add: <span>export…
