Hi, There's no infinite nesting levels by default in Jira. Only Task/Epic->sub task. You can use relationships between tasks elements to nest, but then you would only retrieve your tasks thru search. Maybe you should have a look to Structure plugin. F.

Hi Kesavan, Had the same need, have a look to https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/19140699... Best regards, F.

Hi Sean, I forgot to mention that I performed the test on Windows, and it seems that latest Safari version on Windows is 5.1.7 (OK it's maybe weird to use Safari on Windows ;-)) F.

Thanks. Is there any documentation describing how to write for Atlassian Connect?
-
Well a workaround would be to create a page in a Conflence space, then in the comment area of the page add user mentions like (at)xxx, where xxx is a user name. They will then receive a mail notifying them they are mentionned in a comment, with a link to go to this page, hence being able to log in. But the URL to use to…

Hi Jordan, You have to click on the "Add user" button, then fill in the information in the dialog, checking the "Send an invitation emal..." check box, Cheers, Fred

You can maybe create a user group dedicated to this project, then restrict project to this new group. I guess this is faster than changing all users permissions.

Hi Vineet, Well looks like Gitlab integration with JIRA Core is possible without any plugin. But, looking at the prerequisite configurations, especially on Gitlab side on a per project basis, this can be painfull to do if you have a large number of projects to configure for integration with JIRA. Anyway I did not try…
-
If I'm not wrong, JIRA core can not integrate with Gitlab (JIRA Sofware can integrate with Bitbucket, Github, but not Gitlab). Hence why we are using the Git integration plugin on our side.

Hi Vineet, Yes there are differences, check https://confluence.atlassian.com/migration/jira-7/cloud_jira+agile_product-changes F.

Hi Vineet, Yes, have a look to Git Integration plugin for JIRA, it integrates Gitlab with JIRA, F.

Hi, The problem was caused by the use of the user password insead of API token at application link configuration. F.

Pablo,Do you think the Git integration plugin or Fisheye/Bitbucket are compatible with GitBlit? Thanks,Fred
-
Well the GitBlit server is already running, with quite a lot of code already committed an several branches. Therefore, the need is only to be able to declare to which JIRA issue/task is a code commit related to, by indicating the issue id in the commit comment...Is there any simple way to do this?
-
Hi Pablo,What do you mean by "can be packed as JIRA add-on"?Thanks

Hi Denz, From my point of view, you can achieve this by using user groups. As an admin, create a first group of 5 users, and then in the admin section of the HR projet, assign the client & user project's rights to this group, and go on this way for the other projects (a group of user per project). Note that if needed, a…
-
Which JIRA version are you using? Usually you can access user management from top right corner (administration icon).
-
Yep, this is why I said you need to have administration rights, then create a user (with any mail address), then insure that the user is part of jira-developer group to ba able to be assigned with a task.
-
I don't know which JIRA version you're currently using, but you should have administration rights, then go to user management section, then create the user. Don't forget that the newly created user must be part of jira-developers group to be able to be assigned with a task. You can change groups for an existing user in…

Tasks can only be assigned to a user defined in JIRA. You may create a user in JIRA with a mail address which is not part of your mail domain, but a user has to be defined in JIRA.
