Hi @Konstantin Löscher , if the historical date is the date when the issue is closed could you not use Resolution date?
-
Hi @Martin W , The solution will depend on what application the other party is using? With JSM, if the email response includes the issue key and summary then the body of the email will be added to the current ticket as a comment. However, I have not tried this across two JSM instances. It is an interesting scenario that I…

@Mayur Gaikwad/Tech PMO , CMP is Company Managed Project vs. TMP Team Managed. Since you are using CMP you can simply use Automation to add a comment and included the url... * trigger - work item transitioned to xxxx status * conditions - as needed to ensure the action is only done when desired * action - comment on issue

Hi @ariharan m , here is a simple rule based on your requirements to try. Please note that there are things to consider with this rule like is it only automation for the in progress transition or do you basically want the parent to always follow what the children are doing? also consider scenarios where there are multiple…

Hi @nmaydanyuk , welcome to the Community. indeed not all fields are available and Organization is one such field. Below are a number of JAC issues that you may wish to vote on. Open JAC issues

I recommend you look at free training here - adopt-itsm-practices-to-deliver-exceptional-service and the documentation- https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/resources/

Hi @Bianca Palacio , have you tried different browsers by chance? Are others experiencing this? You mentioned dark mode, did you try disabling just as a test?
-
Hi @Christopher riley , I do not understand your post. What exactly is your question and what do you need help with?
-
Hi @Amanda Miner , I will flag your post to get someone to check on the status of your instance.

Hi @Linas Galvanauskas , a parent of a "Task" must be an "Epic". In the screenshot that shows net-1, net-2, net-3, I suspect the are task-level issues. You cannot make a task be a parent of another task. You should create an Epic work item if you want it to be a parent of the tasks. I hope that makes sense. Epic >…

Hi @Mayur Gaikwad/Tech PMO , is this a static URL that gets added or is it something the user performing the transition needs to fill in at the time of transition. If static the I recommend using automation. If on demand then if you are using CMP then you can present a screen at transition with required URL field.

Hi @Brandon Elie , I all comes down to how permissions are configured. First be sure that these users are not part of any group or role, e.g. Jira-software-users. The best way to check this is by viewing the details of each user. Second, check to ensure no CMP projects are setup using "any logged in user" for any…

Hi @Calvin , there is no means of being able to see what version you're on in the cloud. Indeed cloud by its very nature being a SAS application regularly gets updates. If you are on premium tier you have more control over this rollout if you desire. I recommend subscribing to the release update, blogs to stay abreast of…

Hi @Linas Galvanauskas , welcome to the community. What do you mean by select an issue? What exactly are you trying to do? Maybe providing a screenshot of where you're at and what you were trying to accomplish would help
-
I am unsure why you are experiencing this. I just tested in one of my instances and it works. It is possible that some update has resulted in your issue. You might check if this occurs in other TMP projects. I also recommend contacting Atlassian support.

Hi @jason.duplock , the OOTB soulution does not offer sub-groups. In the help center you have projects > groups > request types. Of course you can use Forms with conditional logic to present different fields so, depending on your requirements, you may be abke to meet your needs.
-
Hi @Nenad Niksic , so after creating the issue you don't see the lock? What about for existing issue types? The image below reflects where I see the lock.
-
yes of course. I made a poor assumption in the very beginning here. You were conveying that this was working for some projects but not others. I wrongly assumed that some or all of the users were in both projects and that those individuals were receiving it on some projects and not others. So I ended up going down the…

Yes but the fix versions field is what is used to associate a work item (issue) to a release. Natively you're unable to restrict fields. However, there are possible workarounds if you are using a CMP. You could consider removing the fix version from the edit screen. You may currently only have a single screen for create…
-
Hi @Stefano Astuti , are you wanting to restrict the ability to edit the Fix Versions field?

@Ridvan Altay , welcome to the community. It is hard to provide any guidance here without more details about what you mean by the teams progress. You seem to indicate that you previously were able to see this information and it would really help to understand where you saw that information and what information was…

Hi @David Zander , The following JQL will return all issues of type task or sub-task that are due within two days or overdue based on the due date field. type in (task, subtask) and duedate <= startOfDay(2) and statusCategory != done The last part of your question is regarding notifying the assigning of their doom issues.…

Hi @Luís Sá , this seems to be related to Xray app. I found a similar post from last year and the recommendation would mirror my advice - contact Xray support.

Ah yes. I missed that you were on Free. I will see if I someone can confirm if it is a bug (the mentioned bug or something new). I tried to reproduce but could not.

Adding to John's questions, I wanted to ensure it was clear that neither John nor I work for Atlassian.based on the details of your last post it led me to believe you might assume otherwise. this is certainly perplexing and short of stumbling over something I think you will require Atlassian support assistance. It…

Hi @María Agustina Romera , if you are on the free plan, you cannot do this, however, otherwise please see this article update-your-product-and-site-url

Hi @Saurab Prakash Rao , welcome to the community. You can use the Jira macro and display the actual issue within your confluence page. You can add whatever columns you want including status. That status should be updated in near real time. Note, you mentioned project status, but that is not something that exists. Projects…
-
Hi @Patrick , welcome to the community. The very first thing I would check here is that you do not have any automations that might be the culprit. It could be that an automation is running post creation that copies from the parent. You can look at the history of the issue and see if there is anything that gives you a clue…
-
Hi @Chris Smith , I assume you mean vertical column here. Unfortunately this is not possible. As you might appreciate, this could become unpleasant if not unusable as the number and/or length of labels grows. For this reason having it as a row rather than column is generally preferred.

Hi @Nirav Patel , currently, you are unable to negatively include the form when planning an issue. Here is an open suggestion for this feature and if you read the comments, there is a workaround that leverage is the API if you're up to the task. https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD-10939 The other option, and I'm…
