Hi Vanessa, I'd recommend contacting our support team at support.atlassian.com and follow the prompts to create a support request with our Cloud team. They'll be able to help you get up and running.

Thanks again Steven, for your really thoughtful feedback. It really helps us. I've passed your comments about parallel sprints on to my teammate in the JIRA team, so stay tuned. UPDATE: My colleague just got back to me - You can find out all about Parallel Sprints right here:…

Hi Christopher and Steven, Thanks so much for your feedback (and sorry it has taken me a little while to get back to you, I didn't see this question until this morning). I'm pleased to hear you like the condensed view of What's New. You've probably noticed that we're deploying updates to our Cloud products a lot more…

Hi Andy, I think this is a know bug in 5.8 and 5.9. See https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-39041 for more info, or watch the ticket for updates.

Hi Robbie, Sorry to hear you're finding the new restrictions dialog. We introduced the restriction type picker to make it easier to restrict editing a page, and also to remove restrictions (without needing to click remove beside each person or group). Because Confluence pages are visible by default, we wanted to make sure…

Hi Hung, Confluence Questions is currently a beta release. The Give Feedback panel enables all users to easily give us feedback on the beta which will help us improve the product ready for version 1.0. I am not aware of a way to remove the Give Feedback panel during the beta.

Hi everyone, Sorry to hear you've had problems getting collaborative editing up and running with your reverse proxy. It's important to know your reverse proxy must support websockets. This means Apache 2.2 won't work, you need Apache 2.4. The following docs have some example configs that you can use as a basis for your own…

Ah sorry, no i'm not aware of any chart that will just show resolved. Sorry about that!
-
Hi Pan, We are currently working on a Created vs Resolved chart for Confluence. It will be part of the existing JIRA Chart macro. This will be available in the next release of Confluence (and in the next month or so for OnDemand customers) In the meantime you might be able to use a gadget to get the chart you want. See…

Hi Lisa, the new tasks functionality, that includes assignees, due dates and task reporting was introduced in Confluence 5.5. Info on Tasks in Confluence 5.2 can be found here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONF52/Managing+Tasks+in+Confluence

Hi Jonas, This is a highly requested feature for our JIRA Service Desk customers. You can read about the JIRA Service Desk side of the changes here JIRA Service Desk 3.1.0-OD-03. It is aimed at JIRA Service Desk users who only use Confluence as a knowledge base, but can't make any of their content public (by allowing…

Hi Janet, we have a brand new series of blogs to help new users get started with Confluence - with lots of good ideas about what you can use Confluence for and how you can get started. I highly recommend checking them out here http://blogs.atlassian.com/2015/04/introducing-confluence-101/. Enjoy!

Hi Tony, We decided to retire this page a few versions ago, so it no longer appears in the later versions of our docs.
-
Hi Paul, Editing the document and manually adding a vote is how many of our teams do it. Sometimes this is done by everyone editing the page, and other times one person has the page open, and records everyones votes.
-
Hi Ed, the users listed are watching the entire space, and not just that individual page. As an admin you can manage page watchers, but not space watchers I'm afraid. What you can do is direct the users to their own Watchers page so they can stop watching the space themselves. The link will be <your site…

Hi Rosalind, It's not possible to upgrade from 6.0.0-OD-x to 5.10 using the installer just now. We hope to have this problem fixed very soon (hopefully as soon as version 5.10.1). If you're not able to wait, you can upgrade to 5.10 manually using the zip file - info on how to do this is…
-
Hi David, troubleshooting application links can be really tricky. I'd recommend contacting our support team directly for help on this one.
-
Hi there, This macro is bundled with Confluence so will be automatically updated when you upgrade to Confluence 5.10. I'm following up with our dev team to find out why it is appearing in marketplace and the universal plugin manager as not compatible.
-
Hi Helen, Confluence itself has no bulk actions for files. However, if the filenames for the images are the same as the existing, attached ones, you could bulk replace them on a page by page basis (either by going to the Attachments page and dragging multiple files in, or in the Files dialog in the editor - if you do it in…

Sounds like there is definitey something wrong. You can file a support ticket at support.atlassian.com

Hi Nicky, Have you changed your Site's homepage to use a page instead of the Confluence Dashboard? You can find this out in the Confluence Admin console > General Configuration > Site Homepage. If a page is listed as your homepage, check that this page still exists and has not been deleted or restricted. If 'Dashboard' is…

Hi Guys, I've just checked this doc, and the reference to version 3.5.17 is correct, but it is a little trickier to find because the list is sorted by date and not by version number. 3.5.17 is listed next to the Confluence 4.2.x versions, as it was released at the same time (it was released as part of this Security…

I'd also recommend having a look at this guide Upgrading from Confluence 3.5 as it is aimed specifically at guiding you through the process of moving from Confluence 3.5.x up to the latest Confluence versions.

Hi Fabian, Questions uses a simplified version of the Confluence editor, and at the moment code block is the main macro available. Were you wanting to use the Include macro in a Question or an Answer? We have an issue open here for adding some more macros, feel free to comment on the issue and tell us about how you would…
-
Hi Boots, at the moment you can't add an inline comment on a macro. The team hope to improve this in future, but for now you can only add inline comments to plain text.

From today, the Documentation theme is no longer available in Confluence Cloud. All spaces using the documentation theme have been migrated to the default theme. For Confluence Server customers, the documentation theme will not be available after you upgrade to Confluence 6.0.
-
Hi Scott, I'm one of the tech writers on the Confluence team. The documentation theme is indeed still a thing, but we do have plans to remove it in Confluence 6.0. You can read about the change here End of Support Announcements for Confluence. We're making some much loved parts of the doc theme available in the default…

Sorry! Wish I had a better answer for you too.
-
Hi Jeff, Unfortunately there's no way to move or copy templates between spaces - manual copy and paste is the only way I'm afraid. It sounds like you'd be better off using a global template, which are then available in all spaces in your site - but you do need the Confluence administrator global permission to be able to…

Sorry Robert, I forgot all about Watch in the profile menu! There is a feature request for this here https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CQ-412. Feel free to vote / comment on it.
