Hi @Yuuki Welcome to the Community! To retrieve Jira stories that belong to a specific epic using Python, you can use the jira Python library. Here are the steps; * Install the Python library:pip install jira * Import the library and authenticate with your Jira instance: from jira import JIRA jira_url =…

Hi @David Martínez López Sorry, but your question is not clear. Could you provide more details or context about the topic you're inquiring about, so we can assist you more effectively?
-
Hi @Sandesh TM Have a look at this post.
-
Hi @BSANSC2019 I suppose you are getting this license incompatibility error for an app, aren't you? If that's the case, do you also have a Data Center license for the app? Because you need to have DC license per apps as well as the Jira itself.
-
Are you sure? I don't think toString() could be apprepriate there.
-
Actually, it is up to your preference. You can use any logging approach to see how your code works. For instance, you can use log.error('log details') method.
-
Hi @tamer_afifi First, I may suggest some changes in your code. Don't use the getCustomFieldObjectByName() method as it's deprecated. Instead, you can use the below code to get the custom field by its ID value (simply replace 'xxxxx' with your custom field long ID value. def targetDateField =…

I find myself in a similar situation as you. I haven't had the opportunity to visit Italy, but I have a strong desire to explore it.

Happy Wednesday! It's wonderful to hear about your Thanksgiving and the things you're grateful for. Wishing everyone a great week ahead!
-
Both the contains() and the find() methods should work. Could you please add some logs to understand if the code has been through the if clauses, etc?
-
Hi @Pavel Component field returns multiple values (array/list), that's why you can't match the value of the field with a single value. Try this one below if (company.getValue()?.find { it.name == "Company name" }) { events.setRequired(true) }
-
No problem! I'm glad it helped!

Hi @Fruzsina Visky Welcome to the Community! Could you please share how you call the REST service?
-
Hi @Jamie Gordon How about this one, (assuming that you have APPROVED status which the ticket transitions to upon approval) status changed TO APPROVED DURING (startOfWeek(), endOfWeek())
-
Yes, you are right, this is quite old version I suppose. They (FieldScreenSchemeManager) need to be changed (to FieldScreenManager)

Hi @Bhakti Prasad Panda Thanks for your message, why do you think it is not the right code?
-
Hi @Rajkumar P I would recommend taking a look at this link. The link also explores how to use workflow triggers.
-
And I believe that transitionmanager provides the definition of the workflow transitions, not the historical values for the issues.
-
are you sure that there is a property like transition1.count ? I checked the API here but I could not find that property/getter.
-
I see, the previous and next status names are In Progress. I'm afraid this is the worst case for this scenario because Jira API does not provide which transition changed the status.
-
This solution is very simple and straightforward, but it will not address the issues that have already undergone the transition.
-
Hi @James Hutt As far as I know, enabling or disabling apps in Jira requires manual intervention by administrators. However, I do believe that the automatic enabling or disabling of apps is not advisable, as this should be a decision made by an administrator who can carefully evaluate and consider the implications.
-
Hi @Harsh I am not sure if this can be achieved through checking specified transition, but I can propose a solution that checks status changes. You can examine the previous and new status names in the issue change history. If they match, you can return a boolean "true." Here's some sample code to get you started: import…

I couldn't agree more. It's all too easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of daily life, constantly rushing from one task to another. Sometimes we need to just take a step back and enjoy the simple pleasures of life.

Hi @Maja Zuchowska As far as I know, the JQL date handling is designed primarily for days and weeks. As you mentioned, there is a workaround using the created field with AFTER operator or simply you can try startOfMonth or startOfYear operators. created < <span>startOfMonth</span>(-<span>2</span>)created <…

Thanks for sharing @Dan Breyen !
-
Glad that you fixed the problem.
-
As far as I know, this is normal behavior. It's a web fragment and it is supposed to show up every time the url is hit. You have to store session in order not to show that per user which will make your code uglier :(

Hi @SALAH Abderraouf Welcome to the community! Can you share the snippet of maven-jira-plugin part of your pom.xml's ?
