I was looking forward to this, many thanks @Ree Kent !

Hi @Manar El Kefi Welcome to the Community! I believe you'll reach out to more Forge developers in the Atlassian Developer Community.

You need to write a script that iterates through the projects and roles. The script can be written in either Python or Groovy in which you may retrieve project id values as an array. Likewise, roleId values that you want to add/remove a user.
-
Hi @Arun Unnikrishnan Let me try to help you by sharing the necessary REST APIs you need to achieve this. Each project in Jira has its own set of roles, each has unique IDs. To get the role ID for the Project Admin role, you can fetch the roles for one of the projects. GET /rest/api/3/project/{projectIdOrKey}/role This…

I believe the desired format can be achieved by adding a formatter step in Pabbly. Simply add a new action, select Formatter, and configure the date/time formatter something like (DD.MM.YYYY HH:mm ) to obtain the desired output format.

Hi @Reinis Welcome to the Community! This NoClassDefFoundError can be tricky most of the time. I assume you have already imported the component using the @ComponentImport annotation to import it as a dependency. Additionally, I'd suggest ensuring that FingerprintChecker is a valid OSGi component. Adding an import-package…

Hi, I can't say I understand 100% but, from my understanding, I tried to scratch something which might help you start with. I hope it helps... async function updateUserList(issue) { const initialField = issue.fields['customfield_XXXXX'] || []; const secondaryField = issue.fields['customfield_YYYY'] || []; const…

It’s wonderful that you and your wife are transitioning to a smaller community closer to both your families and wishing you a smooth transition.
-
It means that you need to write a script to achieve this.

500 is a server error, did you have a chance to check the logs?
-
Hi @Michael Okhotin If you do not add the customfield_11111 at all, it will be null unless you have a default value for that field. On the other hand, if this is a REST service call and you use the PUT method for /rest/api/2/issue/{issueIdOrKey} <span>with json below</span> <span>{</span>…

Thanks @Janice

Thanks @Jimmy Seddon

I see, Is the other custom field a text field where you only need an explanation of the change, or is it another multi-select field that only contains the newly added options? How about removing items? Lastly, if this transition is called multiple times, will it override?

Hi @Bhargavi Vasa Try using the SQL query below. However, I suggest adding some 'where conditions' to filter results, as this query could return a large dataset, potentially impacting your Jira's performance (depending on how many issues your Jira instance has). SELECT p.pkey AS project_key, ji.issuenum AS issue_key, fa.id…

Hi @Saniah I'm sorry, but I'm having trouble understanding your exact needs. Could you please provide some solid examples to clarify?
-
Of course, Below I am sharing a code snippet for you to start with but please bear in mind this is just a sample code I wrote here, I haven't tested it. fieldName is the fieldId that you want to track. import com.atlassian.jira.issue.changehistory.ChangeHistoryManager; import…
-
Hi @Karl Samson You can accomplish this in different ways. One method is to write a script that checks the change history items for the field and retrieves the original value from the issue history. It's straightforward to obtain the old value of any field using a Groovy script. However, if you prefer not to write code,…

Hello @Rahul Wattamwar If you are free to use an app for this purpose, I'd recommend Enhancer Plugin for Jira. You can create a resolution user custom field to track who resolved the ticket. Also, you can use the Reopened Counter field to track the number of times an issue has been resolved. You can use both fields in your…

Hi @Gal Fatal I made a similar update in the past that helped me. It might not be the best option for you, but I think it would be a good start. You may write a simple script (PHP, Java, groovy or any other) to retrieve all filters and update them accordingly. * call Jira's REST API to retrieve all filters. Since you have…

Hi @Lee Ng Welcome to the Community! Sorry if I could not get it right. As far as I understood, you want to list all issues of PR1 which have linked issues from other projects. For this case, I'd try project = PR1 and issueFunction in linkedIssuesOf("project != PR1")

Hi @Manan Welcome to the Community! If you use REST API, you do not need to add jars (libraries). You may get the result as json and use it accordingly. On the other hand, if you use Java API, you still should not need additional dependencies apart from jira-api.
-
Hi @Sandesh TM I think you forgot to share the code. If you share more details, we may be able to help.

Hi @Erik Avetisyan Welcome to the Community! Please take a look at this post for the Atlassian recommended solution for that

@Kristján Geir Mathiesen thank you! I'm sorry to hear that you have the start of tinnitus. I have tinnitus problem as well, which is very, very disturbing. The doctors say, 'you've got to cope with that.' Anyway, this thread is for fun, and I don't want to turn it into a hospital ward :)

Apart from local artists, my first internationally known concert was Ben Harper in 1995 in Istanbul. I have no plans for a concert, and I probably won't have any due to my ear problem. Unfortunately, I can't tolerate noise because of my ear's pressure issues :( .

Okay, could you provide more details about your Service Desk form and the post function? I apologize if this is a basic question, but I need a better understanding. What does the form look like? What specific fields or properties do you want to extract from the issue? Have you started working on any code for this?
-
Hi @Digvijay Singh Gehlot No, I don't think it's a good idea to copy its value to another redundant field. Could you please add some logs to the code in various places and trace the value of each? Possible problem is the value of the field is numeric (like 10010, 10011 which may be the option id values of High, Medium and…

Hi @Digvijay Singh Gehlot This is the answer for Jira Datacenter (you asked for DC I suppose, but it was also tagged as cloud). First, you have to create a new Behavior and map it to the relevant project and/or the issue type. Then, in the Behavior script, you’ll have the logic as written below (sample script below).…

Sorry I could not get it, what's the problem with the code? Are you getting compile errors?
