I am sorry, I am unable to find out why it only shows once per user. In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with the code, but I am unfamiliar with SR's fragments and how to use them.
-
I'm not entirely sure if I can assist with this, but let me begin by asking where you placed this code. How do you run this code?
-
Hi @AisM I hope you're well. I would suggest configuring announcement banners but it needs admin privilege and I don't think there is a way for team members to achieve that. @Matthias Gaiser _K15t_'s article seems very helpful, but as he mentioned it still needs Jira admin and you need to improve the code if you want team…

Yes, it works both for data center/server and cloud instances.
-
Hi @Bill Goodall As you pointed out, the solution varies significantly between the cloud and server. There is no out-of-the-box solution for this issue. You will need to create custom fields independently for both the server and the cloud, and the code implementations will also differ between the two. On the other hand,…

We have a hiking group and the location was one of the plateaus in Hopa/Artvin/Turkey in August 2019. It is at an approximate altitude of 3000 meters. Have you ever been over Jira cloud? 😄 It's like hiking on a whole different level! It's something like swimming within the clouds, I do not recommend swimming there though.

Thanks for the clarification, I'm glad it helped!
-
I'm glad it worked. You can use this API method, however, you can also use getAllChangeItems(issue) and ChangeHistoryItem should have getFroms() and getTos() methods in which you will have those changes. The choice is up to you :) Thanks

You're welcome!

Thanks for the round-up @Nikki Zavadska _Appfire_ Atlassian is definitely ramping up its AI game, and it's exciting to see the improvement!

Hi @Hitoshi Hayasaka It seems like a permission problem. If you have the incorrect permissions, you may not be able to view certain issues. You need to check your permissions, check project permissions and see if you have "Browse Projects" and "View Issues" permissions.
-
Hi @Mark Argente Nope, you can't create a sub-task in a different project. Sub-tasks are typically associated with parent issues within the same project. However, you can create a task and link the issue to the other issue. You can name this link type as "is child task of" / "is parent task of" but it won't be same as…

Thanks for the round-up!

Nice one!

Awesome! Thanks for sharing!

No, I don't think it's a good idea to install a plugin for just this purpose. I supposed that you already had the app and you would be able to use this function. Other than that, I'm afraid I have no idea.
-
You're welcome Ali, rica ederim :)
-
Sorry for the spam, I was just thinking about this, if there is a specific link between those two Tasks, you can use Script Runner's hasLinks as below. AND hasLinks = "your-particular-link-type-direction"
-
Oh, I see! How do you link those Tasks (second and third-level issues)?
-
Hi @Andreas Welcome to the Community! Did you try getFromString() and getToString() methods instead of getFrom() and getTo()? They should do the trick.
-
Hi @Ali Aydın Unfortunately, to my knowledge, there isn't an integration app available for linking LinkedIn and Jira. However, if LinkedIn offers an API to retrieve application data through a REST service, you could potentially develop a custom solution. This could involve creating a custom plugin or setting up a scheduled…

Hi @Ivan Andrieiev I think you can do that with standardIssueTypes() jql function which searches for issues that are not sub-tasks issuetype in standardIssueTypes()
-
Is this CQL? I don't think there is a direct JQL/CQL syntax to extract the first word from a string. However, you might get the entire string and split it and get the first (index:0) array item using a Macro.

You can find a similar thread discussed here.

Hi @Silvio Jira Cloud does not have a built-in feature to restrict users from creating specific issue types. However, if you have Script Runner or JMWE on your instance, you can do this by building your own validator.
-
Hello @AisM , Thanks for mentioning me. I concur with @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- 's points. It's important to recognize that Jira's primary function is as an issue tracking tool, not a comprehensive user activity monitoring system. As a result, it doesn't inherently offer the specific metrics you're seeking directly within…

Disney World in Florida is my ultimate favorite theme park. I had the incredible opportunity to visit in 2008, and I thoroughly enjoyed exploring Magic Kingdom and Universal Studios during that trip. Those days spent at the parks are etched in my memory as some of the most unforgettable moments of my life.

Last week, I visited the city of my birth and upbringing, a place filled with nostalgic memories. I fondly remember the time when my father drove us to a neighboring city, home to a magnificent fjord. More than three decades later, I had the joy of driving my own children there, and they were absolutely enchanted by the…
