Hello! Could you try manually upgrading to 3.2.6 and see if that solves the problem? You can find it here.
-
Hello! We don't guarantee settings being preserved from older versions, but installing an older version should keep your settings.
-
Hello! Looks like the WMI service has something wrong with it. Try following this thread and see if that solves the issue.
-
Just a heads-up: 3.2.6 has been released which fixes an issue we found when pushing in 3.2.5: https://product-downloads.atlassian.com/software/sourcetree/windows/ga/SourceTreeSetup-3.2.6.exe

Hello! You should be able to just create a HOME environment variable and set it to %USERPROFILE%. You might also have luck running the git installer again and making sure it's set to add git to your path.
-
No, that's only for older versions (that page only gets updated once the progressive rollout is finished). However, you can find the latest release here (includes the fix mentioned).

Hello! Which OS are you using? You can disable the automatic refresh on focus by checking the setting "Refresh when application is not in focus" in Options > General

Hello! Please try the following: * Make sure Sourcetree is up-to-date (are you on windows or mac, and which version are you using?) * Make sure you're using the latest version of Git, and that the git-credential-manager-for-windows is installed (you can update the embedded version of git in the Options menu)

Hello! First, I understand you're frustrated, but being rude isn't going to make me work faster on fixing this issue. We do progressive rollouts of new versions for this exact reason. Second, https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/SRCTREEWIN-12165 isn't even an issue caused by Sourcetree -- it was an known issue with the…

There's currently a crash with sidebar selection, so we're not progressing rollout until it's fixed (the new build will be out tomorrow). Sorry for the delay, but hopefully it will be worth it!
-
So it's not actually Sourcetree that's looking in "U:\", but git itself. My bet is that your "HOME" environmental variable is set to "U:\" when it should probably be set to "%USERPROFILE%"

Could you open the process viewer (Tools > Process Viewer...), set the diff tool, then close the options window. Then look at the process log for an item that looks like this: git -c diff.mnemonicprefix=false -c core.quotepath=false --no-optional-locks config --global difftool.sourcetree.cmd As a work-around, you can save…

Hello! I see that you're using basic authentication for login (ie: username and password). Could you try removing that account, and then re-add the account using OAuth as the authentication method? It tends to be a bit more reliable.
-
Hello! There's multiple locations that your .gitconfig can be located: local, global, and system wide. Sourcetree sets the diff config at the global level -- which should be located in "C:\Users\USERNAME\.gitconfig". We don't actually look for a file path, but instead tell git to set the config value with the --global flag…

Hello! I realize that there was a slight change with how the explorer button works (more details about how it affects you would be helpful!), but due to security issues I'd highly recommend using the 3.1. That said, are you using the custom proxy settings in the Options > Network tab in Sourcetree with the "Add proxy…

Hello! Which OS are you using?
-
Hello! Have you tried using Sourcetree to clone the repository?
-
Hello! Which OS are you using? When you say "it will push from my github account" are you referring to the username that's attached to the commit (your name and email)?
-
Hello! Looks like the git-flow config isn't setup properly. Modify your config file under the "[gitflow "prefix"]" part to look like this: [gitflow "prefix"] feature = feature/ release = release/ hotfix = hotfix/ support = support/ versiontag =

Hello! Dark theme is currently in beta with our beta tester group. We're planning to release this month (probably in a week or two). Thanks for being patient!
-
Hello! This is actually a bug in our installer and is currently fixed in our beta releases. We're planning to release the next version with this fixed sometimes in the next few weeks. Thanks!
-
Hello! We don't optimize for virtual machines currently, but we hope to improve this sometime in the future. Thanks!

Hello! You'll probably need to update your credentials, but you should be seeing a prompt to do that. Could you try installing git-for-windows and making sure the "git-credential-manager" is installed? Then go to "Tools > Options > Git" and hit the "System Git" button after it's installed. You can manually remove…
-
Hello! Could you provide more info such as the version of Sourcetree, and OS you're using? There's a few things you should be aware of: * When committing files, make sure you only check the files that you'd like to have committed * If there's files you do not want committed you can right click on them and select "Ignore" *…

Hello! If OAuth is not working then it's probably due to some local anti-virus or firewall policy that's preventing communication to localhost on a specific port. To help us: * What's the OS you're using? * What's the version of Sourcetree you're using? * Do you have the latest version of git installed? If you cannot login…

Ah, okay I've verified it locally and will file a bug. Thanks for walking me through this!
-
Hmmm... I don't think the timing has anything to do with it. I suspect the error line with "permission denied" is probably the culprit. Is there anything that might have the file open that could be preventing file access? As a work-around could you try running the command "git flow finish release TAG_NAME_HERE" from the…
-
Ah, that might be due to a bug in previous versions. I'd recommend removing your credentials via the "Options > Accounts" tab and then try and re-add them.
-
Hello! Due to recent API changes with Bitbucket it is advised that you upgrade to the latest version of Sourcetree. Thanks!
-
Hello! That's pretty normal -- does the same thing happen when you try and run the app? Some info that would help: * Which OS are you using? * Do you have the .Net Framework installed? * Is it possible that any anti-virus could be preventing files from being installed?
