Can you post a screen shot of this warning? I haven't used this integration myself, but I am curious if it is asking for the Atlassian or MS Teams admin to set permissions.

Great Webinar. Enjoyed it. Mission Control would be the one that resonated.

Hi @Alfredo Lagrosa This document may help. https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/cannot-connect-confluence-to-ms-sql-server-using-force-encryption-591594220.html It comes down to modifying the start parameters for Confluence.

While you could use Confluence for this, I would suggest using Jira. I'm sure you considered it, do you mind sharing why Jira wouldn't fit your needs?
-
It's still in beta, but when you use the search on cloud, you may need to opt into the beta, you get the option to have AI search.
-
You tagged this as JSM, but I'm kinda smelling this isn't a JSM thing, are you sure you are in JSM and not Jira?

Hi @gina.hall You will need to add the Owner as a key on the pages with the page properities macros. even though you can add Owner and date details, the sort function is limited to what is on the pages.

Hi @hollis.sosnowitz I believe you may be looking at the Data Center documentation and not the cloud. To get this reset for the cloud, you'll need to create a support ticket. On a side note: Users started seeing an issue with the max results setting of this macro a few months back. There are a couple of questions in the…

I love this concept. You want an "I'm feeling lucky" button for Confluence? You would need to script something as nothing out of the box would work. There are multiple ways to do it, but I would look at Script Runner first. There may be a Marketplace addon that would do this, but I'm not aware of one.

Wearing a jacket for the first time in the fall is my favorite. Extra points if I find money in the pockets.

The way to do this is to protect all spaces and pages you don't want the client to see. I will typically create a safe group, throw everyone except the external clients into this group, Then add that group to all spaces for read access, You can also create a group for edit access and one for more admin-type things. Be sure…

No, there isn't anything like this in Confluence. I was thinking of some workarounds that could achieve your goal, while I came up with a couple, they would all be more annoying to maintain so I won't suggest any of them. I would suggest, revisiting why you feel you need to restrict/trick the user in this way, look at how…

The most direct way is to write a script to get this via the REST API. https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/confluence/rest/v2/intro/#about https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/confluence/rest/v2/api-group-page/#api-pages-get

I think you are going to run into issues, mainly due to authentication, unless you are running one of the marketplace apps that share confluence pages out publicly. There is the Salesforce connector, I have never used it and don't normally name Marketplace apps, you can give it a try with the free trial and see if it does…

@Brant Schroeder Not my question I only moved it into this forum.

Hi @Scarlett Ah, you mean auto-assign them as watchers to a certain set of pages? I read this three times, thinking about how to politely tell you to point your manager to management classes. There are several ways to achieve this. One would be to use automation. You could create a group for his team, if one doesn't…

The cloud makes using markup directly troublesome. Try the solution here https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/How-to-insert-a-table-using-text-only/qaq-p/1362000 Scroll down to @Katerina Kovriga _Stiltsoft_ 's answer where she has a sample table and recommends you to copy and paste into notepad before…

Hi @FrankTrautwein Is it still happening?, it's been about 5 hours since your post.
-
Hi @nupur.takoo Can you elaborate on what it isn't doing? Please show a screen shot. Let us know the link format you are using. More details the better.

Hi @Heide Behrens I just tried this on my instance and it worked as expected, I used 10 as the value to show the children in Start Depth. However, I do see that it won't change from the initial value of 10 regardless of what I reset it to.
-
You'll have to have Atlassian fix this for you. I've hit the "Summon Support" button for you.

I'm more an instigator than an influencer

Hi @Jenny Gallagher Best I can find without using a macro is the space Analytics. Then find the Page menu And then go to the last selection of pages on the bottom and that last number is the total count. In this space we have 332 pages. I'm sure there is a better way if you look thru the Marketplace.
-
The easiest IMHO is to export the pages, bulk search and replace/edit them outside confluence with your favorite editor, then import them back. You could probably do something similar via Scriptrunner if you have it installed.
-
Whiteboards inherit permissions from the parent page. So the users would need edit permissions from the space and any intermediate pages if any if you want them to be able to edit the whiteboard.
-
I don't think this site supports that feature. Best I've found is to bookmark a profile page and look at their activity.
-
It's like you have the edit and published modes reversed?
-
I don't think there is one yet, Doing a quick search there is an Jira integration with ADO boards, but not seeing anything for Confluence. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?query=Azure%20DevOps%20Boards

Taken just after I got back from a week long conference.

Hi @Christine Davis It's possible. There are two main ways to attack this: one with Scriptrunner (and maybe other add-ons as well), and you can script the fields to populate when one is blank and the other isn't. The other way is with automation. After the issue is created, if one of the fields is blank, populate it based…
