Monique vdB Community Manager

We did it ahead of schedule, everyone - crossed the halfway mark! I don't know what y'all did but YAY EVERYONE for 16,500 trees and 55% planted! I will be on vacation for the next week and unable to update the tree count. I did share my secrets with @Saralie S. so keep your eye out for her updates. GO TREES!

@Summer Hogan I LOVE that painting, wow! @Craig Nodwell sounds fantastic! There's something so satisfying about vinyl, for sure. @Walter Buggenhout I somehow thought it would be even more... then considered how many pieces 7,000 pieces is.... hahaha

@Jimmy Seddon for the community roundups and this great post. 🥰 Likes for Trees mega-cheerleaders @Craig Nodwell and @Marjorie 🌳 @Anna for helping us get ready for Aurora Alpha! (iykyk) @Summer Hogan for teaching me about chlorophyll. 🍃 @Andy Gladstone for not being afraid to tell me when I'm on the wrong track 😉 and…

Wow, what a moving story.

@Summer Hogan You just BLEW MY MIND!!!! 🤯

@Walter Buggenhout that's incredibly impressive, how many pieces is it? @Craig Nodwell that is incredible!! What is the track list like?? @Amanda Barber watercolor was also my pandemic hobby, lol. But I've kept at it. Congrats to your sister!!

Congrats, Rising Stars!

And don't miss @Ditte Simard's WIP Wednesday, it's out of this world!

@Ditte Simard WOW! I can't wait to see what this looks like when it's finished! It looks so good already! I am often working on watercolor paintings but I haven't started one recently because I've been traveling. Instead, this Wednesday's WIP is a puzzle. My friend and I are practicing for a speed puzzling competition.…

Way to go everyone! Keep it up, we're almost at the halfway point!!!

@Sanjog Sigdel that is a great idea, and I will follow up internally with the Atlassian Foundation and some other folks. Anyone else getting future Community Leader vibes from Sanjog? 😉

And your official high five:

Here is your high five!

@ronald.bergmann I guessed video game! This is beautiful. I need a gaming system again one of these days....

@Dana A fantastic! We haven't had the opportunity to plant in China, Colombia, or Mexico yet either along with the U.S. Well, looks like we'll have to find a reason to plant more trees again soon....

And hooray @Sanjog Sigdel - you were 12th on the list when I checked, followed by @Tomislav Tobijas @Dave Mathijs and @Alexander Pappert 😉

@Walter Buggenhout I'm in Amsterdam for the summer and I can't believe I didn't think of that! 💥🌳💥🌳

Wow!!! That reminds me a bit of banyan trees in Hawaii, with the huge spreading trunk. Gorgeous.

Curious about our top tree planters? So far, we have.... @Craig Nodwell - 1202 trees! @Amanda Barber - 1170 trees! @John Funk - 763 trees! @Andy Gladstone - 696 trees! @Mirek - 335 trees! @Randy O'Neal - 329 trees! @Summer Hogan and @Walter Buggenhout tied with 308 trees! @Mikael Sandberg - 303 trees! @ronald.bergmann 271…

The official thermometer is here to celebrate hitting 10,000 trees and 35% of our goal! We need to hit 50% by Saturday to stay on track 🚂 So tell your friends to make like a tree and get over here. 😉 There are also some great discussions going on in the new Work Management group that I highly recommend checking out. We've…

@Amanda Barber well I changed my adverbs to other parts of speech when I realized adverbs wouldn't work 😆

@Betty Messina I'm from Southern California and also have a very soft spot for palm trees! Especially sillhouetted at sunset on a warm summer night....

@Summer Hogan as a Californian, any trees that change color amaze me! Wait, do these change color or are they always golden? 😆

@Wisdom john ikoi welcome and we are so thrilled to have you and hear about your journey so far. Here's to many great things ahead!!

@Walter Buggenhout ahhaaha your hotpants... 😂

@Andy Gladstone (your "click here" link doesn't work, sadly!)

Thank you @Andy Gladstone for this hilarious idea... now on to read everyone else's! It was an [obsolete] and [wicked] day. I was tired of sitting in the [bicycle] and decided to [orate] through the forests outside. As I [figuratively locked] up my [M&Ms] and [frantically baked] to get ready, I could already smell the…

@Dana A our partner, Eden Reforestation Projects, doesn't currently operate in the U.S. but if you know of any organizations that are doing good work, let me know! We love to spread the love.

@Rachel McDonald it makes me laugh every time, he just looks so quietly desperate for help. 😆

Well this one might be my new favorite @Justyna Gdowik _ Deviniti _ But this is another favorite:
