Another idea would be to try User Profiles for Confluence, which lets you generate org charts automatically based on the Information (your manager) from the LDAP/AD that is connected to Confluence. Disclaimer: I'm the vendor of that add-on ;)

Hi Murali, first of all make sure, you have a good understanding of what GreenHopper is and what it does. In order to get started please check out those links: * https://www.atlassian.com/software/greenhopper/overview * https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KWiSkH9Tqbo&feature=player_embedded *…

Sorry for the dumb question, but are you sure it is not two different issues? One could be a clone for example or something similar. Do they really have the same issue key? Could you attach a screenshot showing both issue keys (parent and "child")?

Glad I could help :) I was afraid that zero may not work, thought I prpose it anyway.
-
Hi Donncha, Yes, you can indeed change that, at least get close to it. If you reduce the number of displayed workflow buttons to one (you may try zero as well, not sure), the rest is in the dropdown. The procedure is described here, section "Changing the number of transition buttons":…

oh thanks, stupid me for not finding this one. An option for configuration would be preffered though. Anyway this one has to go to atlassian.

First of all stories are just a issuetype you could create with the creat issue screen. So you are still able to that from anywhere in JIRA. What you are actualy pointing out is, that major functionality from Greenhopper (pre 6.0) is still missing or at least hidden in the latest versions. i would go as far as saying that…

Hi Christian, the suggested approach is not bad at all you might want to try this. Have a look on the plugin "Create on transition" for JIRA. Annother approach would be as followed (I configured something similar once which did work quite well): * Create a new workflow with Status for all the relevant persons/departments…

I'm sorry but you may need to provide more Info on that in order to give us a chance to provide helpfull answers. Stuff like which application are you trying to update, which versions, things like that...

allways glad to help, you're welcome :)

just go to the admin section and hit "Issues" -> "Fields" and then on the right "Field Configurations". This is your place to go. You may want to create a seperate field configuration scheme for ach "set" of configurations. Otherwise the newly created field will be mandatory in all pojects (even if it is not on a screen!)…

Go to system administration (as system administrator, obviously) and enter "Filter" into to quick search box (on the administration side of things). Also you could just use this URL: <JIRA-URL>/secure/admin/filters/ViewSharedFilters.jspa

Hi, As GreenHopper uses JIRA Filters (JQL) to create the issueset for each board, you may need to change the owner of the shared filter (underlying the board) to be visible to you as well. This is possible in one of the later versions of JIRA, starting with JIRA 5.0. Hope that helps? Cheers, David
-
Hi James, you will have to apply those restictions to your JIRA project and GreenHopper woll respect them. The best ways of dooing so is as follows: Project Roles and Issue Security Schemes Create a project role for each vondor (they are applied global though) and add all users of that vendor to that role. Than create a…

Hi Gabriel, Installation (of the Plugin) is easy, you can just download it from the Atlassian Marketplace (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/de.communardo.atlassian.plugins.cute). A basic outline on how to activate extension can be found here:…
-
Hi Gabriel, yes, this is indeed compatible with JIRA 5.1. You might need to tweak the script a bit in order to apply to your fields and users. Cheers, David
-
@ Simon unfortunately this is not available on OnDemand due to technichal limitations of the plattform and the architecture of the plugin.
-
guys, if anyone is still looking for a solution: we described a pretty low level (i.e. soft-hiding, on the client side) approach to this issue here. Please feel free to look onto this and come back at me in any case of questions. Disclaimer: this solution requires a small plugin of which we are the developers. Better be…

Nope. One board, one owner. That's it. Whould you could do instead in order to enable several user to edit the board is to create dummy user with shared passwords that is only used to manage boards/filters/etc that need to be edited by multiple users.

which version of greenhoper?
-
In Agile (that is, GreenHopper) you have filters that are likely to include more that one project. So first of all this is completely independent from each other. Anyway, in order to change the name of the Board you are using (assuming GreenHopper 6) you will have to klick "Extras" (top right) -> configure and than click…
-
Both of the gusy are right, I could have pointed this out. What you could also do is apply a quickfilter like "fixVersion in unreleasedVersions() OR fixVersion is EMPTY" in order to hide tho looong list if you want this but not remove the items from the board.
-
If you just want to see those issues at your board, you could just go to The board configuration (as board owner) and in the first tab ("Filter") modify thesection "work filter" to your liking.

What D mean by "tracking risks"? Are speaking of listing all risks for a project besides its feautures or are you more speaking of attaching the infrmation of the scope of risks to regular tickets (i.e. features)? For the first one you could just use your approach. For the latter one you could e.g. add a new field…

Hi Nicholas, thanks for the quick and delighting answer :) Cheers, David

Hi Tony, there is a bug in the latest version of chrome, affecting all (most?) Atlassian product. The option is still available, it just moved to a not-existing second row of those three icons. It cann be accessed by pointing your mouse to verry small point of the gadget (see screenshot) or by just using any other browser.…

GreenHopper 5.10.5 was one of the last releases of GreenHopper 5.x, so the differences (featurewise) to the current version are not that big. There was even a thread going on here where someone successfully downgraded from 6.0.1 to 5.10.x so it might be easy. Anyway, as Norman pointed out in the comments above I would…

@Mahesh There is no configuration for that. But this can be achieved easily with the CUTE for JIRA Add-On (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/de.communardo.atlassian.plugins.cute) and a little bit of JS.

Thanks anyway. At least I found this: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSD-460
