I have to agree with Shaun. Anyway if you want to prevent people from ranking issues (in general), there is a permission for that. Look for "Schedule Issues" in your permission scheme. You also could create different permission scheems for projects using GreenHopper and for those projects not using Greenhopper and than…

If the Issue was created with an Issue collector, a special label will be added. If the issue was created with JIRA Service Desk a (hidden) custom field by the name "Request Type" (or similar) will have the appropriate value. If the issue was created with JIRA interface nothing will be shown. As you see the information is…

I think you could just go to the atlassian marketplace and download 6.0.1 (via browser). Than go to your JIRA's plugin section and upload it manually. Although I'm not 100% shure of it this should not harm your data or JIRA as this is only one minor relase. EDIT: Please note that you would have to uninstall the GreenHopper…

If the details exist allready in confluence, the best way then is probably to write a usermacro for exactly what you need.

Hi, did you have a look at the User Profile Plugin for Confluence? It my just be what you're looking for... Chers, David

thanks, that is what I was guessing. I just wanted to make sure I am not missing anything here...

Hi George, You could create a new event and execute it through the workflow (postfunction afte the desired status) of the Coding Subtask. This Event would then need to be reffered to in your notification scheme to send the email to the mentioned project role. Please make sure that the mentioned workflow should only be used…

You could prevent users from drging issues up and down by removing the "Scheule Issues" permission. Though, this also results in not beeing able to pick a due date on usual issues for those users. Anyway, this is the only way.

are you speaking of GreenHopper and the Board? Or are you talking usage of the "priorities field in JIRA? Or something completely different maybe? Need more info...
-
sorry, this might be a stupd question but have tried flushing your browsers cache? Or just using another browser? You probably did or at least are meaning a similar thing with'hard reload'. Another not so clever suggestion (somtime it's just the obious things we are missing...) is to check if there is a second field with…

well , that might be the cause for your problem than :)

Hi, are the users mentioned in that field able (allowed) to access that issue? If not, they won't recieve those emails. Also a maybe stupid question, but anyway: is the screen scheme and notification scheme associated with that project? Just asking because this happens to me from time to time... ;) Cheers, David

this is a seperate plugin available at the atlassian marketplace. As you are on OnDemand it is not possible to add custom plugins (though this one is from atlassian). Sorry to say that but in short: It's not possible (in OnDemand). Hope that helps though? Cheers, David

You could also use CUTE Plugin, see: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/de.communardo.atlassian.plugins.cute To use it as a background, look no further than here: https://support.communardo.de/display/cute/JIRA+Wallpaper+Extension The good thing about this solution is, that it's a plugin, you could switch it on or…

Well, using permission schemes is exactly the way to do this. Theare ar rights you can grant to users to allow or restrict this, namely: * create issues permission * Schedule Issues permission (for ranking/changing backlog priority) * Add Comments permission If those restrictions did not work you might have granted other…

As John Cotter pointed out above creating a filter is the way to go. If you (or your users) do not want to mess with JQL and filters you could also just use the JIRA Plugin 'RemindMe' that does exactly this.
-
Hi, the Plugin itself ist located here. But it only serves as a 'framework' to provide the basis for the solution described in the above mentioned link. What you need to do is to install the Plugin from the Atlassian Marketplace and than walk through the instructions I provided above. Does this help?

guys, if anyone is still looking for a solution: we described a pretty low level (i.e. soft-hiding, on the client side) approach to this issue here. Please feel free to look onto this and come back at me in any case of questions. Disclaimer: this solution requers a small plugin of which we are the developers. Better be…

another way would be to host you images somewhere elase and insert the URL to those images for each status/priority. Avoids machine guns.
-
Hi Daniel, No, there is just no other way of dooing it apart from dropping you image files in that folder. Sorry for that one. Cheers, David EDIT: I like your description of your IT department. Kindof feels familiar ;)

Hi, usualy the license of the plugin must match the license of the server (Confluence in this case). Same here: "Must match Atlassian license. Prices in USD. Learn more." (below the table with the prices) https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/org.swift.confluence.html Hope that helps? Cheers, David

I'm a bit late to the party. Anyway we had the same issue and AFAIK it's still not fixed. What we developed was some kind of hack to "hide" (client-side) the corresponding icons for users that are not in a specific project role. This however does not prevent users from playing with the URLs to find out the corresponding…

have you tried to wipe all cookies on both browsers?

well put :)

shortly: NO! Sorry to say this, but it's just not possible. Workflows are not tied to a single project buzt rather to a workflow scheme. In a project you can associate a workflow scheme and this decides what workflows are available for what issue types. This allows flexible combinations of issue types and workflows to your…

glad to help :)

Hi, you will need to grant anonymous access to the confluence system as well. To do so please go to the "Global Permissions" section in Confluence. Not logged-in users will then be able to view the dashboard (with content only from the one space they have access to) and the single space you granted the permissions for.…

Hi, I guess you are using the JIRA Issue Macro (Insert -> JIRA Issue). By doing so you have no chance of modifying the available fields. What you could do though, is using a JIRA Issue Collector (bundled in JIRA from JIRA 5.1 on). The basic idea is to creat a issue collector and then use the HTML Macro (or write a user…

The IDs mentioned in the logs are probably the IDs of the boards. are they still available? To check, you could go to <jira>/secure/RapidBoard.jspa?rapidView=ID with the rights of the corresponding user, admin may be possible as well. Anyway, I would gues they are not available, due to the message "could not find entity of…

Yes, you can indeed turn this off but only for all users. And you need to be system administrator in JIRA. This option is located in the general configuration page. In OnDemand you have to acces the "Issues" part of the configuration. The switch is just there, look for "inline editing".
