In JIRA 5.0 (coming soon), you've got the ability to link an issue to Confluence pages: http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/JIRA+Remote+Issue+Links You could create a plugin that when a new issue is created, Confluence pages are created and the linked to the issue Out of curiosity, what are you using this for?…

For the Confluence 4.0 EAP and Beta program, we created a simple "Got Feedback?" button that essentially is an iframe to a WuFoo form (which you can change yourself). We found this to be pretty sucessfull. You could easily take this and adapt it to your use case. Source is here.

Hi Gavin, In relation to find/replace text, we are looking at implementing that in the near future: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-2522 However in your case, you want to find/replace macros, I haven't heard of that request too often. A cheap/hacky workaround might be some database scripts to find/replace, although…

Thanks for sharing with the community, Matthew!

I think you are also after this feature request for a Calendar Directory: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/TEAMCAL-1134
-
Jonathan, Although it is possible to do what Richard or Jim have suggested, I stongly suggest you don't store your attachments in the database. Someone from our support time can probably jump in here, but long story short - there are lots of performance implications with regards to backing up your database. Given, you…

@olekva: We do want to implement this and have this feature in the short-term roadmap. You might want to watch https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-2522 to stay updated when the issue gets implemented.

KiaiS- sounds like you might be hitting a bug with that document. Can I suggest raising a support ticket at support.atlassian.com so we can help you out.
-
Hi Travis, Sounds like you might be hitting a new bug. You should raise a support case at support.atlassian.com Sherif

Work out what is it on your existing project JIRA cleandar you want to display? Then in Team Calendars in Confluence create a new event of type "JIRA Issues" and then select your project, filter or JQL and tick what fields you want to display (e.g. Issue Date Date, Version Due date etc...).
-
No problems, Kostas. Just a quick question: Can I ask why you want this? Are you visualising roadmap plans? I'm currently looking to speak to customers about how we can improve Confluence for roadmap planning. Would you be interested in giving me feedback? Email sherif at atlassian dot com.
-
Yep there is http://cl.ly/image/1H2S0A0F1x0u select "add start and end date", then pick your two dates from JIRA.

Hi we have a feature request for this that is open: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/TEAMCAL-417 We are actually thinking about implementing this soon and am looking for customers to give us feedback. Interested? Email me: sherif at atlassian dot com.

No plans at this stage.

A few people have asked me to elaborate on some of these things. Some quick notes:* Table improvements - looking at things like following/stalking table headers, cut/paste table columns, auto-row numbering etc...* File presentation mode - speaks for itself I think (full screen page views for slides/image galleries etc...)*…

Tim, we don't really disclose our roadmaps publicly. I did, however give a recent talk where we tried to give people a heads up of where we're focusing. Here is our current high-level thinking (slide from the presentation): image2015-4-14 22:14:16.png Would love to hear you feedback on any of this and what you would like…

Hmmm.. we have a related feature request for this: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/TEAMCAL-1628 at the moment it's not possible to do via the UI. You could if you really wanted to try and get the data out of the database, but that would be quite a bit of work. Why do you want this?

Hi Michael, Thanks for your feedback. At the moment, it is not possible to configure the default title for your template. In Confluence 5.1 (coming in a few weeks) we will ship with a "Create from template" macro. Future versions of this macro will allow you to pre-configure the page template title with some variables (E.g…

We have an open feature request for this: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/TEAMCAL-528 Right now, you would have to create a new "event" calendar - sorry about that..

Here is the feature request for it, btw: https://studio.plugins.atlassian.com/browse/UWC-277

Hi Risk, The macro should give you the ability to specify the default view. This is done in the macro browser. See screenshot:http://cl.ly/1u3b390T1x1G3J0P0y2c Regarding swtching views once it's embedded, that is a feature request we have raised: https://studio.plugins.atlassian.com/browse/TEAMCAL-384 Sherif

Hmm I think this means you have a timezone in your ics file that isn't supported. The quick workaround/fix for this is documented here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/TEAMCAL-95 Basically you should edit the file in a text editor, change the timezone to one that is supported, and import it back again.

Hi Gustav, If you are reffering to the old Clanedar plugin, yes I think it is possible, however that plugin is not supported or maintained. If you are referring to Team Calendars for Confluence, yes you can subscibe from Outlook 2010:…

Hey Herring, There is no way to do this. I don't think this is something we would consider being core to Confuence. Maybe an opporuntity for plugin developers to extend the product...
-
Petros, I should also highlight that we are tracking the feature request to make the default new line behaviour a new paragraph with no margins here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-5949. You may be interested in watching/voting for that issue if it reflects what you are after.

We have an open feature reuqest for this: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/TEAMCAL-168

Hi, What Stefan said. Also, I'm curious why you want to remove it? Isn't the upcoming events list helpful? Just trying to understand why - maybe we've done something wrong and we can improve the experience.
