Maybe the epics do not belong to any components and that's why they are being filtered out with that filter board. Try changing the board's filter to: project = "Code Force One" AND (component = "Seal Team" OR type = Epic) ORDER BY Rank ASC

I've just executed the query and I confirm it works like a charm.

Hi Francisco, Filter subscriptions execute the filter's query one time for each user subscribed to it as if executed by such user. This means that you can still cover your needs subscribing a large group of users (jira-users?) to a filter which includes something like: (assignee=currentUser() OR cf[1]=currentUser() OR…

Hi Francisco, The functionality you are describing seems to be better covered by a filter set to show the custom fields of your choice, subscribing to it afterwards. Note this is JIRA native functionality so, if you can stick to it, you will avoid getting technical debt. Besides, sending the email immediately with the…

Maybe you expect all issues that have ever changed to that status to be currently in that status too? If that's the case, you should add: ... AND Status = 3 ...

Your query seems to be perfectly correct to me. What error do you see on executing that JQL in the issue navigator?

Does your JIRA instance have the Xporter addon installed?

@Andy Heinzer By the way, I've located some more controversial info in the prep materials. What would it be the best method for sending potential errata to the Certification Team?
-
@Andy Heinzer Just to help the Certification Team finding the materials that need to be reviewed: 4th Video: "JIRA Admin Knows Best" Time 8:02 > Sample question states 'The ability to add new users to the JIRA Internal Directory' will be impacted by changing the LDAP directory to the first position. 12th Video:…

Things can go even worst when custom field names replicate system fields...
-
I completely support this idea. I've witnessed a JIRA instance with up to 33 custom fields with exactly the same name, which is a mess both for coding, referencing in post-functions, and searching through the issue navigator. The reason? They didn't know of the existence of contexts, nor thought of the consequences of…

Tell the customer to sign a document with a disclaimer with an exemption of responsibility of any bugs and architectural inconsistencies that may arise as a result of your work with a lack of perspective on the whole picture. If they want to work that way, that's OK as long as you are covered, and not responsible of any…

No, JIRA Core boards do not have a backlog. You can read all Core board capabilities here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jiracorecloud/working-with-boards-800712866.html

Awesome! Looking forward to knowing what answer will be considered to be the correct one in the exam. Thanks again, Andy!

I've voted and started watching JRASERVER-66520. Thanks for having created it, Andy!

The ACP-100 prep materials have a video with the same sample scenario and expected answer.

I agree the question might be a little bit ambiguous.

Are you referring to the remaining time as displayed below? Those are the number of days until the Sprint 'End Date', as displayed in the Backlog. You can in-line edit the End Date by clicking on it: You may need to refresh the Active Sprints page in order to see the updated remaining time.

If the SQL sentence you've executed does not return the filter row, then it doesn't exist. Executing this SQL sentence can give you some additional understanding on how filter shares are managed in the database: SELECT sp.entityid, sp.sharetype, sp.PARAM1, s.filtername, s.authorname FROM searchrequest s, sharepermissions…

Glad to know! 😀

Custom fields will only be shown in the issue detail view if they have a value set. More info: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-2997

Hi Mats, Those date values are set on starting a sprint only. Should you really need to specify these dates in advance, you may enable Parallel Sprints feature, in order to be able to start more than one sprint at once. Regards.

I think you can fix it by following these steps: * Go to Board > Configure > Estimation * Change Estimation from Issue Count to Story Points

ScriptRunner provides a post-function for sending a custom email on using the transition where it is set.

I've created this discussion before finding this post.

As a Community Champion, I'd like to be able to filter out questions I've already read/visited, so that I can easily find new questions I might be able to answer. Currently, when looking for questions, I end up reading the same questions from the list many times, as I enter a question and return to the list of questions.

If you are seeing swimlanes based on anything else than other user settings, then you are in fact looking to two different boards. You may display a different board clicking in the following dropdown arrow: If you cannot see more boards on clicking there, then you need to be given access to the board you would like to be…

As the error seems to be related to workflows and the ability to clone, I can think of the following possible causes, depending on the action which triggered the error: * Trigger: a click on More > Clone: There might be a workflow property denying clonation in at least one of the statuses. * Trigger: trying to transition…
