Most of the time this behavior is caused by the event queue filling up and dropping events. The events that were dropped would have been the ones that rescoped the pull request to update it, but never happened since the event was dropped. If that is what's going on a search through the atlassian-bitbucket.log…

You should be able to get there with http://<server>:8060/admin/sysinfo.doand click on the Edit License button. For looking at users, the link will be http://<server>:8060/admin/userAdmin.do

If you go to Administration >> User Settings >> Users and select the user that you're logging in as, is "Crucible user" set to true or false? You may need to edit this user to enable the Crucible features. FishEye and Crucible come bundled together in the same package and their features are unlocked by the license keys.…

Hi Rudy, Do you have a license for Crucible setup in Administration >> System Settings >> System Info >> Edit License? You may just have a license for FishEye and not for Crucible setup. If so you can generate an evaluation license for Crucible at https://my.atlassian.com

There is an open JIRA issue for this feature. You can vote on it in JIRA to let Atlassian know it's a feature you're interested in.

Hi Niek, Just following up here from the support request and for others that might find this, we've created the following feature request to add an option to render the SVG as text: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BSERV-7992

You may not be able to get the raw contents of the file from the REST API, but it's available if you tack on ?raw to the full URL of the file. For example, hitting https://{my-host}/projects/CLOUD/repos/myrepo/browse/package.json?raw should return the raw contents of that file.

Scott: You're not able to edit the attachment location for OnDemand instances. If you need to store the attachments behind your firewall, I think you'd need to use the hosted option and not OnDemand.

Erwin: What's the result of running 'git --version' from the command line?

There is the Stash Importer tool that will help accomplish part of what you're after and reduce some of the manual work. The command line tool will take a collection of repositories on disk, create the project/repositories and then push them to Bitbucket Server. It can do this iteratively so you can refine the project/repo…

Hi Matt, There is an open feature request for syntax highlighted code blocks at https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/STASH-3782. Cheers, Jeff

The local clone that FishEye/Crucible has of the repository has likely become corrupt. To fix this: * Navigate to Administration >> Repository Settings >> Repositories * Select the repository that has the error * Click on Maintenance * Next to Re-clone and Re-index click the Start button More information here.

Deleted files are still preserved in the repository history, so you would likely need to rewrite history to clean up data that is truly no longer needed. The BFG Repo Cleaner may be able to help. If you haven't yet, I would still suggest trying the commands I mentioned to repack the repository to see if it does make a…

The repository may need to be repacked. Sometimes the conversion process can create some inefficiently packed repositories. Try the following commands on a copy of the repository (as a test in case there are any issues): git gc --auto git fsck git repack -adf --window=200 --depth=20

Hi Mattijs, There is an open feature request for this in the SourceTree JIRA - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/SRCTREE-1732 You can vote on that issue to let the SourceTree team know that it's an issue you're interested in.

Hi Hans, Do you have Captcha turned on for your Confluence instance?

There can be a few causes for the SSH plugin to timeout during start up. Please review "Required plugin com.atlassian.stash.ssh-plugin has failed to start" is displayed when accessing the Bitbucket Server web interface which provides a few causes and solutions. Most likely, there is not sufficient entropy on the server…

Hi Kyle,Could you provide more detail on showing up like JIRA's user database? I'm not sure I follow. If you're already aware, you can use JIRA as a User Server and connect Bitbucket to that so only those users are synced. More information at…
-
Hi Kyle, You can setup a more specific user filter on the directory so that only a subset of users are synced to Bitbucket Server. The filter by default includes all users that fall under the Base DN, but it can be changed in the directory configuration, under User Schema Settings look for User Object Filter. For example,…

Hi Matt, The best way to accomplish this would be to do a full backup of the test instance and restore to the production one. This would only work if the production instance was fresh and all data could be replaced with what is on the test instance. So, I'm not sure if that's possible in this scenario. More information on…

Sorry, I missed where you want to people to still be able to approve and merge. You could setup a pre-receive hook by creating a plugin that prevents pushes to certain branches. See this answer for more details. There is an open JIRA issue to do what you need without having to write a plugin, see STASH-2910.
-
You could setup Branch Permissions so that only certain people can write to a branch.

If Bitbucket Server is running locally, you can use out Lockout recovery process guide to regain access to the server and reset your password. Are you using an external user directory for the users in Bitbucket? If not, you can just reset the password to your user by using the guide above.

If you go to a users page, you should see a list of their activity with a button to show only Commits. In the upper right corner, click on Tools then select RSS Feed. That will give you an RSS feed of that user's commits. I'm on v3.2.3, but I believe this has been in Fisheye for several versions.
-
Just to confirm - There should be no side effects with disabling this system plugin. We've also raised https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BSERV-8979 to address this issue.
-
I've disabled this plugin in my local instance and so far have not noticed any issues that it causes. I'll follow up internally and double check if there are any further concerns, but I don't believe there will be.
-
You can disable the Bitbucket Default Reviewers Plugin under System in Manage add-ons. This will disable all of the bundled default reviewer functionality. Out of curiosity, what features does your custom plugin provide that we're not? Perhaps we can create a feature request for this to improve the built in one.
