What is the error that you're getting that causes the build to not finish?

You're following this guide for setting up your SSH key on your local machine and Bitbucket, correct? Are you able to run the git clone command as the Jenkins user? You might be running into an issue where the bitbucket server needs to be added as a known source. Login as the user that Jenkins is running as and try to…

I ran into a similar issue when trying to connect Jenkins to our Stash repositories over HTTP (https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/221482/jenkins-unable-to-clone-stash-repository). I ended up using SSH and it worked. If you switch to SSH, does it work?

Hey Jason, could you post some of your atlassian-bamboo.log file? It might provide some errors on why Bamboo is not responding. You may also want to try opening a support request if it's an urgent issue.

You'll want to click on the oldest parent commit that you'd like to rebase to. This will allow you to squash any children commits from that point. The graph in SourceTree is upside down, where the parent commits are lower and children commits higher. Does that help explain it? If it doesn't, could you provide a screenshot…
-
Right-click on the parent commit and select 'Rebase children of <sha> interactively'. After that, you'll be able to drag and drop to squash commits.
-
Are you using Windows or Mac OS X? I don't believe the squash commits functionality has been added in the Windows version yet.
-
This feature is available in the Mac OS X version of SourceTree, but I don't believe it's made it to the Windows version. Are you using Mac or Windows?

@Asger Gitz-Johansen the .hgrc file is located in your users home directory. For example on Linux this would be "~/.hgrc" or "$HOME/.hgrc" and Windows it's located in "C:\Users\<username>\.hgrc" or "%UserProfile%\<username>\.hgrc".
-
Hey Gordon, If you update the .hgrc file, it's just a local configuration and will only affect that machine, it will not change how other machines connect to the same repo.
-
You may need to create your own global .hgrc in %HOMEPATH%, Mercurial should look to there by default.
-
Hi Matt, Which version of Mercurial are you using in SourceTree? You can check with Tools > Options > Mercurial. I just updated to the embedded version 2.6.1 and did not get the warning. If you don't want to update, you can manually add the server fingerprint to the .hgrc file located in your user directory.…

Hi Matthew, do I understand correctly that you're looking for something like iterative reviews described in the following feature request? https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BSERV-3263

The option to disable HTTP for Git operations was added in Stash 3.11. An upgrade to at least that version will allow you to do this.

Since FishEye is running as a Windows service, the Java flags will need to be configured in the service, not as environment variables. The service can be configured under Start > All Programs > FishEye > Configure FishEye. Under the Java tab, add the proxy flags to the Java Options section, each on their own line. After…

Just to clarify, is FishEye running on a Windows or Linux server?

Hi Daan, I wanted to close the loop here since we resolved this by raising a support request and if other people find their way here, they'll have an answer. This was caused by the <span>-XX:MaxPermSize=256m</span> Java option not being set for the Stash Windows service. Using this guide we were able…

I haven't used the GitHub Mac GUI so I'm not sure what it was doing, but in SourceTree you should still have access to the Remotes section on the left-hand side and be able to checkout remote branches even while offline (at least it appeared to work when I disconnected my network). I don't think you should have to create…
-
You can only checkout one branch at a time in Git. A checkout in Git updates your local files to the state of that commit/branch. You still have access to all the branches of the remote repository through the remotes menu on the left. You can create a remote-tracking branch by right-clicking on any of them and selecting…
-
When you clone a Git repository, you have access to all of the remote branches and the full repository, you'll just need to checkout the appropriate branch. By default SourceTree checks out only the default branch during a clone. You'll need to checkout the remote branch and have it track locally. In SourceTree if you want…

The feature request for regex searching is tracked at FE-824. Feel free to vote on the issue and add yourself as a Watcher to be notified of its progress.

You're running into one of the known limitations of 2FA and SourceTree at the moment. Currently, SourceTree will use SSH to do most everything with Bitbucket except build a list of repositories. There is an open feature request here to allow application specific passwords, this would allow SourceTree to use that set of…

Hi Stan, I have a couple suggestions to checkout as the issue could lie in a few places. I was able to get ELB working with an Windows EC2 instance just now. EC2 Security Group Check the security group on the EC2 instance and make sure that it allows inbound connections on port 7990 for the ELB. As a quick test, you can…

Hi Aman, If you use embedded Git, SourceTree will install and use a version of Git that comes bundled with the application and provides an easy way to get going with SourceTree without having to install Git yourself. If you already have Git installed on your machine, you can set SourceTree to use the system Git. This will…

Check out Mentions are Not Working in JIRA to see if any of those steps help solve the issue. It's likely a permission issue, so look at these two specifically: * Ensure that the user has the Browse User Global Permissions, as in Managing Global Permissions. * The user being mentioned must have Browse Project permission…

What is the error that you're getting?
-
Do the users missing the tab still have the "View Development Tools" permission in that project?
-
Yes, a user the uses JIRA Service Desk to submit a request must be included in the license and your JIRA and JIRA Service Desk licenses must match. Alternatively you could tie JIRA Service Desk into an email account that non-licensed users could send a message to create issues. See the first comment on…

Hi Lucas, The Post-Receive Webhook will only work if Flowdock is configured to accept the payload that Bitbucket Server sends. I'm not sure if Flowdock is setup to handle that payload, but I suspect it's not. You may want to look into using one of the free Flowdock add-ons available in the Marketplace. For example, there…

Hi Laszlo, Could you clarify what overview link you're refering to? I'm running Stash 3.0.1 and don't see an overview link for a repository. What's the URL that you're being taken to? Also, which version of Stash are you running? Cheers, Jeff
