As a guess, I'd say you might running an old version of the Project Categories add-on. If you are, make sure you've updated to the latest version or disabled it and try again. Otherwise, Timothy is correct, there will be an indicator for what happened in the logs.

We're looking to add support for Git 2.5 at the moment and the work is being tracked at https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/SRCTREEWIN-3646 Watch the issue to find out when the internal version of Git will be updated.

Hi Jeff, The session-time property is set in minutes.
-
Matt, check out this guide from Atlassian on possible causes for a pull request not updating. If you post your application-properties/application.xml file from the Support Tools Plugin, I can help look through it as well.
-
What are you wanting to update in the pull request, Matt? If you want to update the code in the pull request, you can push new commits to the source branch that you specified when creating the request. If you want to update the destination branch, title, reviewers, or description, there should be an Edit button in the…

I turned on SSH in Stash and used that instead of HTTP, it's now working.

I'm still a bit new to Git LFS, but I think that when a Git push is initiated from the client there are hooks that will detect which files are being tracked by LFS and upload them to the server. There is then an API that the LFS client and server use to manage these files and put them in the correct location. Since we're…

Hi Christian, When you pushed to the repository, did you see a message from Git LFS indicating that the file(s) were being uploaded? You should see something like: Git LFS: (1 of 1 files) 22.08 MB / 22.08 MB In the push. As a quick test, if you modify one of the PSD files, add and commit it, and push again, do you see this…

Hi Chris, All of the Git LFS content is stored under $BITBUCKET_HOME/shared/data/git-lfs/storage

Check out the Release Notes in Atlassian's public facing JIRA. That should give you a good idea of the individual issues. It's probably missing some, but does have a decent amount.
-
Jasmine: Are you wanting to get the difference between two dates in a JIRA plugin? If so, you might looking into Joda-Time, as it makes these calculations much easier.
-
You're welcome. It took me a while to figure out what was going on, I missed that setting a couple times.

Is this a Mercurial repository? I was able to recreate the view you're seeing if I open a Mecurial repository. I see your .gitignore, but it looks like Sourcetree detected this as Mecurial. Merurial doesn't have staging like Git.
-
Tools > Options > Git > Tick "Use the staging area"
-
Adam: Could you provide a screenshot of what you're seeing? That might help to figure out what's going on.
-
Hi Zach, This could be related to the version of Git that SourceTree is using. You can check that with Tools > Options > Git and should see the version used at the bottom of the window. Which version of Git are you using and is it the embedded or system Git? Try updating the embedded Git version and using it.

Hi Kevin, This is actually by design (mainly for performance reasons). There is an open issue (https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CRUC-6369) for improving the current behavior. Please Watch or vote for that issue to stay updated on it's progress to let our team know it's a pain point for you. For now, the workaround is to…

It looks like the Yet Another Commit Checker (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.isroot.stash.plugin.yacc) add-on may be able to verify the commit author."Require committer name and email to match Stash user"
-
Stash matches a users' email address to the user.email property in the commit. If no user is found with that email address, the user.name property in the commit will be displayed in Stash. I'm not aware of anything available to check the user.name and user.email of a commit message, but this could be done with pre-receive…

Try the documentation for recovering the admin password.

Hi Niharika, I just tried this locally with Stash 3.0.4 and I was prompted for my username and password. Is it possible that you're on an older version of Stash if the below is not the behavior you're seeing? git clone http://localhost:7990/scm/test/changes.gitCloning into 'changes'...Username for 'http://localhost:7990':…

What is the Base URL that you have configured?

Hi Greg, I think you understand the feature correctly, it's just that the feature you're looking for has not been implemented yet. I suggest keeping an eye on the follow feature request and Watch it for any future updates when we may implement this. This would allow you to specify the Jenkins user so that it can makes…

You may want to drop a line at https://support.atlassian.com/they should be able to help. Are there any crash logs in the Windows Event Viewer for HipChat or SourceTree? Event Viewer > Windows Logs > Application
-
Interesting, I have several files in there and no user.config. Have you tried reinstalling both applications? Did they both work in the past?
-
Could you post your sourcetree.log file? It's located in %USER%\AppData\Local\Atlassian\SourceTree
