Hi Noel, you may want to look at https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRAKB/How+to+Get+a+List+of+Active+Users+Counting+Towards+the+JIRA+License regards
-
when you say VPN you should be able to access the remote host directly cause all traffic is being send though this tunnel.
-
not sure if i understand your description correctly. i am wondering where that IP 192.168.0.125 is coming from. i hope it is not the "remote" IP cause it is definitly a private net thats inside your home LAN. that would explain why there is no content until you set up a local repository with content. that has nothing to do…
-
I wouldn't reconmend running any process to run as root. I assume you aim at removing the port i.e. 8080 from the address and make it respond to jira.yourhost.tldThis can be done in a more smarter way
-
why download when you're onDemand ? :) maybe you're planning to switch.... i tried clicking your link...download starts immediately maybe try again a little bit later can you wget this file from your server?
-
i don't think so. https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Using+Validators+to+Make+Custom+Fields+Required+on+Transition+Screens at least you will need Jira Suite Utilities
-
hi Stanislaw, you may have a look at the behaviours plugin
-
strange....what user groups your account is in? your in jira-administrators and your got full admin access don't you? if not did you set up global permissions using a stripped down administator-group like jira-systems-administrators in one of these groups (is believe so) you must be in to see the "Administration" Link top…
-
check if your sysadmin account is in the role "Administrator" for your project. this should be fine then. then please go to administration/issues/workflow and select the greenhopper workflow which is currently assigned to that project and click "edit" then open at lease the closed & resolved transitions ... you should see…
-
ok i tried to do the same... i chose a project using a modified workflow...in agile configuration i set "Simplify Workflow" and indeed there will be added a post funkction "The Resolution of the issue will be cleared." to the "closed" transition. but i do have the choice to delete it...can you please check what persmission…
-
Is this workflow simplifiedby greenhopper?
-
No. Not in ondemand
-
i believe vbulletin can be modified to use your crowd or jira authenticator.
-
kindly have a look at this
-
yeah i did that. also if you disable the feedback module it will run into an exception if you click on recent service desk from the menu...filed this one as well
-
so your users should be unable to edit the issue but still be able to convert it into a sub-task ? if so the question is "how to hide the edit button from Operations Bar to specific users?" https://developer.atlassian.com/display/JIRADEV/Customising+interface+based+on+user%27s+role
-
if you disable inline editing nobody will be able to quickly edit issues in the view-issue screen. you will still be able to edit the issue if you klick "Edit" option you will only see "Edit" Option if your user is inside a group/role which has permissions to "Edit Issues" inside the permission scheme that is assigned to…
-
if you only want users inside jira-administrators to be able to edit issues why don't put it in a permission scheme?
-
so i was... too many times :)
-
you can also restrict editing to roles/groups using workflow properties in certain steps.
-
You're welcome mate. Glad i could help. Enjoy the new release

are you trying to import the xml during the setup process? if so could you just finish setup and import afterwards? i think there were some changes made to customfields https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA044/Changing+Custom+Field+Types you log lines... Custom field searcher module:…
-
hi. 1. right 2. you could add the field to "issue view detail" for an example please see my attachment here haven't tested this for scrum boards but i expect it to be the same according to this i may define scrum and agile a little bit diffent cause i thought goals are set in an epic where sprints are included containing…

hi chris, there you go https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Adding+a+Custom+Field
-
you're welcome. feel free to accept the anserwer(s) you find helpful
-
of course that is possible... needs some few settings to be done... what you're asking for JIRA is covering 100% no need to visit the office. this can be done remotely setting up project permission scheme, roles, workflow (including some conditions)
