yes indeed this would be quite uncomfortable.. i'm just checkin if the groovy script runner plugin can handle this...
-
hi. you can copy field values during transitions with a post-function using the suite utilities plugin https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.googlecode.jira-suite-utilities
-
i also was kinda stressed by reporters filing an issue...during state "In Progress" they decided to edit some essential info of the issue so the whole thing got a completely different meaning. i solved this by only letting reporters (or non-developers) edit ther own issues (including inline editing) as long as it is in…

i got them as well. no problems on 5.4 here
-
hmm no i didn't faced any issues so far. not on physical hosts (thats what production and failover hosts are) and not on virtual hosts (my sandboxes for playing arround with plugins and versions) all of them are 64bit the VMs may be configured a bit to poor...you will note some slower performance there but they really…

hi vishnu, i can't say wich is the best linux to be picked for a productive instance..but i think you should choose the one you're (the systems administrator) is most fimilar with. our company uses only RHEL6 some of my customers run Centos6. also Debian systems run stable and safe. i'd say jira won't mind the Linux…

if i got that right you may need to add a post-function to a transition inside your workflow which updates the assignee field. i.e. add post-function "update issue field" the next step will show you this

image is missing. could you re-upload it? Query1) if you are using jiras default workflow you cannot change anything. but you could create a copy of it and modify it to fit your needs. Query2) you may look at JEMH plugin. it holds extended configurations to process any types of email... Query3) Add own resulutions in…

jql should be able to do the magic issue-type = ${you_name_it} and labels = "${you_name_it_again}" i don't think script runner plugin works for ondemand installs....but this has nice scripted jql functions such as https://jamieechlin.atlassian.net/wiki/display/GRV/Scripted+JQL+Functions

Hi Philipp, i used to do the same and it worked perfect. did you recieved any errors or similar after running those querries? i assume you performed a full reindexing after you made the changes and restarted confluence
-
i see.. thanks for the info :)
-
update: ok i just checked...also other peoples comments on other peoples answers could be deleted.
-
really? i never seen such an option hehe this may be cause i never was looking for it. i just checked on some of my own questions...edit close ok...but no delete. comments direktly under my answers can be deleted...but no other stuff. can you re-check this in your own questions/answers?
-
depends on your Karma check https://answers.atlassian.com/karma/ you can not delete Questions
-
would this post be helpful? https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/69918/jira-plugin-for-tracking-time-in-current-status
-
i tried the same...now comes the weird part... the workflow shows the new name in "linked status" but the database entry shows the old.
-
what jira version is that? can you try running integrityChecker?
-
that's how we set it up too. works as expected
-
you may wanna look at {INSTALL-DIR}/atlassian-jira/WEB-INF/classes/log4j.properties
-
it is possible that atlassian finally introduced 5.2.4.1 to the marketplace to let them communicate with each other. it is like that sometimes with new builds...anyway they fixed it. i suggest installing new versions in a testing environment next time you plan to upgrade. if everything is fine you're ready to go…
-
so far so good. what exactly do you need now?
-
So you're back on 5.2.4 now and still not able to connect to marketplace?
-
even no release notes available... https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/JIRA+5.2.4.1+Release+Notes "Page not found" i wouldn't think about upgrading atm marketplace should be updated soon to talk with 5.2.4.1 version too. stay tuned can you download manually?…

hmmm i switched attachment storage from database to file system....works...150MB uploaded w/o problem same file after setting back to Database...works as well. try decreasing the limit... my.cnf max_allowed_packet=512M confluence Attachment Maximum Size 536870912 Bytes (512.00 MB)
-
ok i rechecked this...the table for attachmentdata DATA is longlob which theoretically should allow up to 2GB of filesize... there must be something between the database and the application
-
argh maybe max_upload_size is the wrong parmater and i am mixing it up with php.... is there a timeout value wich is beeing hit during the upload process?
-
try after adding max_upload_size
-
how is Attachment Storage configured? if it's set to Database you may adjust "max_upload_size" in your Database config file (i.e. my.cnf)
-
i've experienced some equal questions in my company too... some users really got confused about States and Resolutions. like Nic said... if the resolution field has a value, the issue-key becomes struck out. remember when hit "close issue" or "resolve issue" in the default workflow you will be asked to set a resolution.…

Maybe rest calls by a cron daemon?
