i ran the same update on 10.8.3 w/o any problems
-
seems like atlassian changed issue-security level for those issues... you can't do sth that makes them visible to you. about the cache thing....what have you tried to do so far?
-
hi. you may find some helpful lines here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/STASH/Integrating+Stash+with+Apache+HTTP+Server regards
-
nice...i just disabled "View Issue Ops Bar Clone Link" from system issue operations... thats enough. Thanks Jobin
-
hmm well. so what is the best approach to restrict "Clone" from "More Actions" or can it be removed from there?
-
i tried setting some properties per issue state... such as "jira.permission.clone=false" or "jira.permission.link=false" no effect... what am i missing?
-
i won't say that you may be misunderstanding sth... afaik webdav is included in confluence..(what version are you using?) just give it a shot...and try to connect. there are examples for all platforms i.e. windows, max os x and linux
-
that shouldn't really matter. have a look at this KB: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Configuring+a+WebDAV+client+for+Confluence the https from the first url is related to the server config atlassian uses... you will be able to connect on non SSL hosts too
-
WebDAV can be configured for Download versions as well (we did) to let some users edit/add spacecontent from outside the webbrowser
-
Hi Atle, you could use WebDAV i guess... https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/AOD/Uploading+Data+via+WebDAV
-
sorry no...the gadget is a little bit different. but it's possible to route all users to the login form by adding a little jscript to the announcement banner. https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/108042/jira-login-page/118770
-
why don't you give r/w to the jira application in crowd? you could add/delete/edit users from jira and all changes will be synced to crowd...no need to edit any source files from jira
-
according to your last comment...it seems you didn't check the file i mentioned. "Can't access your account" links to http(s)://your_jira_install/secure/ForgotLoginDetails.jspa a simple grep command shows this result: ./atlassian-jira/includes/loginform.jsp: <page:param name="cancelLinkURI"><ww:url…
-
you may take a look at $JIRA_INSTALL/atlassian-jira/includes/loginform.jsp (check for more dependencies there) not 100% sure but this should be a good starting point also keep in mind...on every version update you will need to re-edit the files you modify
-
you're welcome
-
yes of course you can update the copied versions to the most recent.. the only thing that would block this possibility is that your license ran out of maintenance period which will let you keep on using jira but you'd be unable to get supports or updates...so if your license isn't older than 1 year...you should be able to…
-
Hey Anna. just check wich version of jira you are running currently and you wish to export to a different host. dowload exactly this version from here > http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/download-archives go to my.atlassian.com and generate a developers license from your purchased products (Jira) install the recently…
-
as already mentioned above...in jira you can't assign an issue to a group. what about defining working groups in custom_fields instead? you could add conditions/validators to allow only users that are in those groups to be assignable or start certrain transitions see renjith's link for ideas
-
i think this should be fine too. if you start noticing performance gaps you could adjust javas memory usage for both applications.
-
sorry i mixed up sth before so i had to edit my answer to be correct. you will need the script runner to achieve this
-
yes install the script runner plugin https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.onresolve.jira.groovy.groovyrunner afterwards you can use its internal function to switch
-
ok in that case my answer that said "can you check the permissions if you're allowed to "Manage Watchers" but still Micks answers is correct too....because it answers your "how to add watcher" question. depending on the missing background info that came up during discussing so i suggest to accept his answer as well
-
Hmm you think your own answer was the correct one?At least micks answer should be accepted
-
no need to close. simply accept the answers that helped you solving your issue
-
sorry no...the person who set up your ondemand jira projects should be the one to ask
-
ok. i suggest you ask him to grant this permission to you then.
-
View permissions inside the projects admin panel
-
are you the project admin?
-
can you check the permissions if you're allowed to "Manage Watchers"

hi https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.go2group.jira.plugin.synapse 30 days trial..that covers your "around 3-4 weeks" do you want to use an evaluation license for 30 days again? hmm i don't think that's a fair solution...within this period you should have taken your time to test things out…
