with this configuration its clear that User1 can see Page 1 & Page 2 because you included him in the restriction. if you don't want User1 to see Page 2 only you should set restrictions on Page 1 to User 2 only your setup only allows User 2 to see Page 2 only. Page 1 only allows User 1 Page 2 allows both Users

try this link please https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/ONDEMANDKB/Project+Import+from+a+JIRA+OnDemand+Backup+to+Standalone
-
just follow steps from above comment...in a different post...you will need to restart jira but it will work
-
you may try steps from my comment here https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/113801/error-while-updating-universal-plugin-manager-from-2-7-8-to-2-7-9-in-confluence-4-3-3?page=1#113840
-
Yup same here. Check you installed-plugins dir. I got selfupdate twice in there. After removing it and clearing .bundeled&.osgi-plugins and resrarting jira still broken upm update. Also uploading manually is no work arround. I think this version is damaged Im pretty sure atlassian is goin to fix it soon
-
Upraded to jira6. It works. Strange but whatever.
-
i removed and readded Participants field...shut down jira and purged caches and plugins temp restarted jira & reindexed.... no change...weird
-
exactly. got no idea whats wrong as it only affects one user i guess
-
You can use epic labels in GH to group stories, tasks or whatever under an epic.
-
If i understand that right you want to convert a story with own sub-tasks into a subtadk itself. That wont work cause the existing subtasks won't become sub-subtasks.

Hey jerry. First create a filter to query for the issues matching to your cretetia. Then subscribe to this filter and set the group who dhould receive the mail. Set the cycle and you're done. Find details here. https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Receiving+Search+Results+via+Email

hi asher. it's easy... please read https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/140594/general-menu-for-jira-and-confluence confluence 5 includes the new designed header. what you see in OD Jira is the upcoming version 6. so until it is released you can add the changes i described in the thread (link posted) to get pretty close…

isn't the username quite the same like what you use to login? i mean like username=login id that's where aliasing takes effect.
-
i see. isn't this the "Full Name" that can be edited by the user himself? (don't know if rw needs to be set on the directory) you're right...the alias is for login name only. login=c.faysal alias=faysal Full Name = C. Faysal (Thats Name & Lastname...set in crowd too. is not beeing aliased) something like this
-
yes with aliasing enabled you can set a different login ID per authorized app. just browse your user details in crowd, select applications (make your choice), view the "Options" Tab and activate "Enable Aliasing:" see more details here https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CROWD/Specifying+a+User%27s+Aliases
-
you can create a filter that matches your criteria. add a subsrciption to it where you select a group to be notified. https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Receiving+Search+Results+via+Email
-
hi john, since Jira 6 atlassian changed the design. read the ADG about this link to the sandbox cheers
-
yes. you'll need to modify permissions to do so. add jira-user group to "Browse Project" permission. (i think it is by default) you can also use Roles. make sure you have your read-only users in this group/role only. allow working steps like assign, assingable...to f.e. Developers(Role) only. this will prevent users that…
-
sorry. didn't knew that. too bad though :(
-
can you try this jql please? resolution is EMPTY AND issueFunction in hasLinks("blocks")
-
Hi. Your confluence still responds on localhost:8090 right?I wonder why you use a dyndns. You host your confluence at home ?You will need a vhost or proxy config to tell the webserver where to route the request and make your confluence answer to it
-
hi sandro. i never used nginx but maybe you find some hint here https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/16218/jira-behind-nginx-proxy-hostname-and-url-problems setting "proxy_redirect off" may help?
-
http://docs.atlassian.com/jira/REST/latest/ i think public only content needs no authentication...everything else does...depending on your setup. pls. correct me if i am wrong
-
Could be the peoblem. Try creating a hidden transition and use this
-
how to use this filter for auto close an issue? find out what the id of that filter is...you will need to put it in the script what is file extension for jelly script. i don't know if there is any restriction...i used xml start by copy&paste the "close" sample from the jelly escalation kb article edit at least these lines…
-
of course. i edited my answer. the link shows a kb article with two jelly scripts atlassian uses. on what point exactly you need help? but to start with you should create a filter first that shows all the issues you are planning to close due to your 30 days timeout
-
create a filter to query issues that were resolved 30days before i.e. project in (ProjectA, ProjectB) AND status = Resolved AND resolutiondate >= -30d this should be it...but check it in the issue navigator before and see if the result is ok
-
Hi. look at this one https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Jelly+Escalation
-
i think this transition came with workflow extensions or suite tools. both are yet until jira 5.1.8ondemand is 5.2 right?i am facing problems with some workflow extensions from those plugins too. relax. i think there will be an update for them
-
haha thats nice!! feel free to accept and vote answers/comments you found helpfull. we all need karma :)
