agree with alex: KP11 first off all you need to find out wich JRE your applications (confleunce, jira) are using. by default boths bring their own JRE (i.e. sth like /opt/atlassian/jira/jre & /opt/atlassian/confluence/jre) just simply run a "ps axf|egrep '(jira|confluence)'" which will show you the complete cmd line how…

hi. you mean sth like this? https://docs.atlassian.com/jira/REST/latest/#id109110
-
hi rahul, you could exclude resolutions by modifiing the workflow properties. https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Workflow+Properties cheers
-
hi gaurav, a transition moves the issue to a different "status" i wonder what the backgroud of your question is about... https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Configuring+Workflow i.e. Step A (Status=Open): possible transitions are * "Start" links to "status = In Progress" * "Reject" links to "status = REJECTED" of…

OH Happy B-DAY UDO!!!! All the best for you...

you may want to look at https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRACOM/Example+SQL+queries+for+JIRA there is an example for "List Filter Subscriptions"
-
at least the users role. people in this role are allowed to view the project. depending on your permission scheme you could define very comfortable what project role members are able to do. if you want to create special permissions then maybe its a good plan to create a new permission scheme for your project where you only…

use the project roles

feel free to add 'AND' statements to the jql to make the results fit your need
-
But how can we group the items raised by team, and vote? add filter like this... reporter in (membersOf(GroupABC)) and get all issues that have been created by users that are member of "GroupABC"
-
you're welcome

Hi Milan. check this https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CROWDKB/Crowd+users+counting+toward+application+user+limit
-
hi martin, JQL is "Jira Query Language" what exactly are you looking for? afaik plugins can use/access this type of search as well...

no problem peter you're welcome. yes every JVM supports this.. see here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/8809098/how-do-i-set-the-default-locale-for-my-jvm find info on this one here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRAKB/Setting+Locale+in+JIRA
-
Hi Peter. one guess would be to check your linux system locale setting. if you use a unprivileged user to start your jira check this users locale. you can also tell the JVM wich systemlanguage to use by adding a parameter to your setenv.sh. look for JVM_SUPPORT_RECOMMENDED_ARGS="" and replace it…

Hi. i don't believe it is possible to build custom properties like this. you may have a look at this Question: https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/144864/restricting-resolutions-based-on-issue-type-in-resolve-issue-screen
-
argh...i found the problem Event ID 6, 2 for some reason using both will fail. i updated the listener to use 6 (Issue Commented) only and now it works
-
Hi jobin. Yeah i was already checkin for conditions. There are none. I see in the issue activity log that the issue was transitioned to waiting and immediately returned to in progress
-
yup like nic said... please read this https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/74685/migrating-exporting-filters-how-to there already was a discussion on that topic
-
No problem. I didnt knew the exact name but i remember seing some bat files in the bin dir
-
Oh windows. Hmm no experience with that. Ain't there a setenv.bat ? If so this is your file then
-
No i mean the your /etc/init.d/stash? Script you use to call the app

Oh windows. Hmm no experience with that. Ain't there a setenv.bat ? If so this is your file then

Did you try to put it in the init script?Usually setenv.sh shouldn't be ignored though. Works fine for me in all other atlassian apps
-
hi. try the search function for example :) https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/137702/how-do-i-configure-stash-to-use-a-specific-java
-
hi. afaik this cant be done by any screen scheme setting. you may want to add a priority to your workflow where you specify if users can assign issues. those who can't should not be able to see the "Assign" function.
-
hi. please read https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/82337/jira-e-mail-template-customfield-options in case you don't want to read through all that stuff: create a new vm file in your <JIRA_INSTALL>a/tlassian-jira/WEB-INF/classes/templates/email/html/includes/fields (by default that should be in /opt/atlassian/jira/)…

Thats confusing me too. But somehow its clear and logical too. As you add a fixVersion to an issue it says that there is an existing release this issue belongs to. So why should GH dive into historical stuff when it's main focus is on current and upcoming work processes. I think the simplified workflow should really be…
-
If this situation appears in simplified workflows i believe atlassian should fix it in the next GH release. Please raise a support request like renjith already suggested.
