unless you didn't modified anything in Adminstration/"Global Permissions" only users within the group "jira-users" are able to interact with Jira. could you check if your users who are able to login are present in this group? then please have a look at those user who can't login...if we're lucky the only thing you have to…

hi have you already tried purging ${confluence_install}/work/* directory? cheers
-
maybe the application isn't allowed to open the port... just like Vishnu said...you will need to dig in the logs for more info
-
are there any firewall settings that restrict communication on that port? you may need to allow 8090 if your fw only allows common ports can you access your <serverIP>:80 and talk with the webserver? i suggest you will need to allow both 8080 and 8090 to access jira & confluence

hey anja. no unfortunately i didn't find time yet. but i believe the reason is that the epic panel is not checking for issue-type (epic). it is using the new epic-label stuff. https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/87878/how-can-i-filter-my-greenhopper-scrum-template-backlog-by-project-component epic panel seems to…
-
hmm i tested on a KANBAN board not using EPICS....will try that later using scrum & epics.
-
i didn't set a specific issue-type i want to see only...but if i use project = B AND issue-type = "New Feature" i will only see projectB "new features"
-
well i got no chance to test in 5.1.8 atm cause i only stress upcomming releases. sorry bout that. But. i tried in 5.2.5 rapidbord TEST using 3 projects. filter > project in (A,B,C) ORDER BY Rank ASC on the TEST board i added Quickfilter "B only" with jql > project not in (A,C) Result OK also tried jql > project = B Result…

so you just wanna hide Team#1s issues from Team#2 while both teams using the same board right? in that case using labels or a new custom_field could help which jira version is that? don't know exactly wich release brought " in (membersOf(<GROUP>))" to JQL but this can help filtering for i.e. assignees or reporters from a…
-
hi. can you post the jql you use for the "Team Eagle" Quickfilter? you may want to extend it with "AND project NOT IN (D,E)" or simply use project in (A,B,C) AND issue-type = "EPIC" depends on what exactly you need to filter(out)

What do you mean with parents restricitons, same as inherited restrictions? yes i.e. from a superior page. but what you are describing sounds really odd... could you try removing your restriction from inside "space admin/restricted pages"?
-
hmm even if i use parent restrictions i am able to remove myself from view restriction.... try removing all restrictions for that page and save it. then only add the user you want to have view access also have a look at this note this line You cannot exclude yourself As creator or editor of a page, you cannot use page…

ok i was wondering if jira 5.x supports java7...looks like it does. https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRAKB/JIRA+5.2+unable+to+be+used+after+upgrading+Java+to+1.7 but i also found this one: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-31670 do you really need jira to run with a JDK? you may consider updating JIRA to 5.2.8…
-
hey bhupesh. whats the current state? tell me what you did so far etc.
-
JAVA_HOME="/opt/idam/jdk1.7.0_21/jre"; export JAVA_HOME
-
Isn't there a jre folder in your jdk directory?
-
Looks like ma wrong path. What did you change?
-
hi bhupesh. can you please tell me what path is set in /opt/atlassian/jira/bin/permgem.sh i.e. mine looks like this #JAVA_HOME="/opt/atlassian/jira/jre/"; export JAVA_HOME JAVA_HOME="/usr/java/latest"; export JAVA_HOME just comment out the default..and put in your own. restart jira after you've done the change and this…
-
you mean something like "http(s)://yourJirahost/secure/Dashboard.jspa" ? this can be restricted as well note that there are 2 ways that can be used for login second is http(s)://yourJirahost/login.jsp you do this by adding restrictions for Locations (e.g. like) <Location /crowd/> Order deny, allow Allow from someIP Deny…
-
the easiest way without generating firewall rules is by setting up some allowed IPs inside your vhost config. but this will block all communication before your unwanted clients reach the application itself so jira is not going to deny/allow any ip-range but apache will do so... which is indeed an ugly solution cause you…

what about Firefox or Safari? i use both of them...no problems adding (large) images and select a smaller preview i just tried on confluence 5.1.2... using firefox 20.0 to upload & insert an image (3000x3000) and left klick on it to select a smaller view. everything works fine...

wow this sounds annoying indeed. i've never experiences such behaviour before...will other browsers act the same?
