sounds like you want to set up 1 Jira instance 2 Access URLs The thing is that now jira has to be reachable from outside the customer s building with for example URL i don't get that... i wonder why not using an url like http://jira.anywhere.net and add some deny, allow directives to the vhost i.e. <Location /> Order…

i accept the answer cause it shows some kind of a work-around but still it's not the solution i want... i set up a bevaviour to permit editing of some fields if the issue exept the State is "Open" and User is in role "Developer" i reached the point where i need to decide to globally switch off In-Line editing....which will…
-
Ah thats what i expected. But if i choose to move the issue into different state where the issue is no longer editable by the reporter i can easily use a jelly listener to programatically transist matching issues from a filter. So in this case i think it is possible to use jql for triggering creation time and updatedDate…
-
Can you find out if any other process is listening? lsof -i | grep $port Whats in the logfile about 8080?
-
hi ahmad. in the 6.0m06 i only see "Rank" as a customfield. i believe this is the only relevant one. reading the field description of Global Rank makes me think that this one was introduced with GH Labs Rapidboard function. i might be wrong
-
you can do this in the plugins section... show "system add-ons" open"Jira Welcome Plugin" look for something like "whatsnew" disable it -> thats it
-
the only issue i ever experience during a 5.x to next 5.x release was within the connector config from server.xml the upgrade should run fine starting jira was not possible with my customized server.xml i'm not sure but i think it had something to do with the switch from tomcat 6 to 7 regarding error messages i got i had…

did you see http://www.atlassian.com/software/team-calendars/overview point 5 says "Integration with your favorite email and calendar clients – Outlook, Google, and iCal – let you keep up-to-date no matter where you are."
-
ok thank you. so in that case can you check shares on the dashboard that you are viewing? you may want to add the gadget to the "System Dashboard" so everybody can view it if you don't want to share yours. https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Configuring+the+Default+Dashboard
-
hi aquarius, what exactly did you do ?
-
i'd use /dev/mapper/vglocal20121122-tmp00 /tmp ext4 defaults 1 2
-
can you check /etc/fstab please. show mount options for /tmp i assume you have some "noexec" inside if so and you don't wanna change it...try moving the binary away from /var to your /home i.e. and run it from there let me know how it goes
-
i guess another idea would be disabling edit per workflow step by using properties like mentioned here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Workflow+Properties using properties allows you to permit functions to certain users, groups, roles only so you have some finetuning abilities. let us know if you need more…

Hi louis have a look at https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Increasing+JIRA+Memory
-
hi. i wonder why the admin is not able to respond and put in project name and key in the email. so the only way i know is to query all projects that are visible to you (logged in user) please refer to http://docs.atlassian.com/jira/REST/latest/#id119483 you will have to login to your jira and access sth like…
-
due to permissions nobody else but the reporter and atlassian staff can view support cases. if you ask for help in a public area like this you will have to retype (or copy & paste) your text here

https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/116095/where-is-the-new-header-in-eap-6-0-m02/116406Do this in your jira 5.2 and you will get the new header
-
I think this is something like ecosystem.atlassian.net or formerly studio.atlassian.net. What you see is the new header. A similar one is coming in confluence 5.0 and i've read that jira 6.0 will have it too. I bet you are running standalone jira 5.2. i feel your pain. I'm longing for this header tooBut its still jira 5.2…

hmmm i found some setting in the directory connector Manage User Status locally: If ticked, you can activate and deactivate users in Crowd independent of their status in the directory server. i see that this was ticked before...does that mean it will ignore the AD settings completely?
-
im on 2.7.1 ... how does that happen? ive asked some AD guys from the company and they said that on disabled accounts a specific bit is being set. still those users ware active in crowd. what exactly must happen on AD side in order to get them disabled in crowd ? Thank you Caspar C
-
yeah you're right. in our kanban project we also don't use versions so i decided to use calendar weeks instead. i run release every friday
-
Hi Piotr. you could release them and add a version to your release by pressing "Release" at the top of your "Done" column. https://confluence.atlassian.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=268046489
-
simple and short no way. you need at least system administration access
-
Is that email address configured in project settings to sent notifications from?Regards
-
ok here we go: go get jamies script runner plugin first. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.onresolve.jira.groovy.groovyrunner with this one installed you can query exact matches as described here:…
-
I see. So you're asking for a query with an exact match. I will try something out and then let you know...
-
What if you choose fixVersion = "Rel1" ?Will this show issue #1 too?
-
"Starting Confluence Automatically on Sytem Startup" that means in case your server (where confluence is hosted) needs a reboot for example... the system will start confluence by itself so there is no need for to to take action
-
thats strange. do you remeber adding any redirect or something in your vhost.cfg file that points on ${you_host}/jira ? atm i got no idea where this should be comming from
-
Wait a minute. Are you trying to add a subdomain to localhost??A few lines before you said your base url is jira.localhost. Is that right?
