oh i recieved the badge... when will atlassian ask for postal address? i'm goin to wear it on my next gig then :)
-
Me?Sorry mate. I'm not :)
-
I am far away from that. But i already own a bunch of atlassian shirts that came when we purchased an enterprise license. I kept all by myself to be able to wear one each day. My cto asked me if i am not working for the wrong company cause i never wear their corporate prints tshirt. HahahaI won't even wear them in the gym.…

Where can i get one ? :)

doesn't matter what your servers hard disk space is com.atlassian.jira.issue.index.SearchUnavailableException: com.atlassian.util.concurrent.LazyReference$InitializationException: com.atlassian.jira.util.RuntimeIOException: java.io.IOException: No space left on device this line says different. find out where your…

hi. could you please ask your network ppl to make your confluence host public reachable. the confluence baseurl should be whatever you setup your host to respond to requests towards the system. i.e. https://this-is-my-confluence.tld or you may have a port at the end then sth like this https://this-is-my-confluence.tld:8008
-
may i ask how you try to access your confluence? you must be reachable from outside...so for example private ip i.e. 192.168.x.x won't work until there is some kind of NAT or a LB in between that redirects external calls to internal ressources. you would need an external interface with a public ip. you might need correct…
-
hi Aparna, i suggest the external users should be able to access your instance the same way users from inside your network can... unless your vhost config is set up with allow from & deny from directives. in ondemand confluence there shouldn't be any restriction. if you host your own you can set up everything to fit your…

you're welcome. please keep in mind that you cannot copy&paste this one. you need to adjust some lines
-
only thing you need is root access to the servers shell. Just install the binary then and configure the application to fit your needs. create a vhost config and place it in (depends on your distribution) /etc/httpd/conf.d/ a sample config could look like: <VirtualHost yourservername:80> ServerAdmin some1@somewhere.com…

hi. read this article. https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Integrating+JIRA+and+Confluence once this set up is done and running fine you are able to link confluence pages into any jira issue you like.
-
Hi Dmitry, have you checked this KB? https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Subscribing+to+Email+Notifications+of+Updates+to+Confluence+Content
-
this will show you issues between today and the past week. edit: oh i missed the topic...you want stats per week not from 1 week. i'm sorry in that case of course Raimonds post is the best approach. try ezBI reports
-
Hi Markus... the Pie Chart allows you to insert issues from a filter you set up before to match your queries.. if i unterstand that right you want 2 Charts 1st to show you how many issues have been created in one week ie jql could look like: "createdDate >= -1w AND createdDate <= 1w" 2nd to show how many issues were…

currently testing notification assistant... does anybody know if i can send real issue links with summary and ID such as the go2group addon? this addon only sends a link that points at the issue navigator using the jql i set up
-
Yeah i found that one already. I mean the notification helper. Go2group is only project related or postfunctions. The notification helper Looks pretty neat and seams to offer exactly what i need. Thanks anyway mate
-
oh i forgot...not all the existing issues that are found by the JQL. more like a listener on the "Issue Created" event that should additionally send notifications to the room
-
to be honest i must say i really got no clue about Jira & LDAP hosted on windows or windows as a server itself. therefor i can't tell about troubleshooting on port related stuff yes i meant the browser cache can you take a look at your jira_home\plugins\installed_plugins Directory and check for any dupes? i wonder where…

hi Venugopal, right here is not the support desk of atlassian. it is more like customers help customers. 1. you could post some of the exception lines here (i.e. use code) 2. sounds like your previous stopping process didn't work completely (jira home locked? port already in use?) 3. have seen this several times...clearing…

Once i had this error. I found out i downloaded the installer for the wrong architecure. Check if the installer matches your hosts arch. 32/64 bit
-
you're welcome. glad i could help
-
check crowd info your confluence database and see if it matches with the crowd.properties file SELECT * FROM cwd_directory_attribute;
-
solution A (no restart needed) your $Confluence_Install/confluence/WEB-INF/classes/crowd.properties should contain something like application.name confluenceapplication.password <passwd> take that passwd and use it to update your "confluence" application in crowd. solution B (you will need to restart confluence) in crowd…

agree 100%

afaik there are only two options you can set jira to handle user registrations. 1. public = everybody is allowed to register for a jira account. 2. private = only an administrator can invite or create users. i've never seen something like a pool of new users that registered theirselfs and awaiting administrative action to…
-
i think catd colors can be changed too. did you try this?this could be done due to jql queries too. if your jql fits the issues from the active sprint GH can switch colors on them

Copied the hsqldb.jar to /mysql/lib folder. why this location? shouldn't it be inside your application_installDIR i.e. mine (using linux) is located here /opt/atlassian/confluence/confluence/WEB-INF/lib this dir contains the db drivers ls -1 *sql* hsqldb-2.2.4.jar mysql-connector-java-5.1.22-bin.jar…
-
hi sounds like your installed conflunece running on hsqldb did you already took a look at https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Migrating+from+HSQLDB+to+MySQL ?
-
Yes thats what i said in my second comment here. Great you figured it out
-
my recommendation would be to install java (oracle) and update your systems env by adding export JAVA_HOME="/usr/java/latest" then make jira use this java as well by making this change to the permgen.sh #JAVA_HOME="/opt/atlassian/jira/jre/"; export JAVA_HOMEJAVA_HOME="/usr/java/latest"; export JAVA_HOME now you just need…
