Perhaps a screenshot would help describe what is happening and what is expected.

If you're referring to the UI Button macro in Refined Toolkit for Confluence, then yes you're absolutely correct. The reason that it doesn't work is the way that it's implemented. Macro parameters do not show up in search, but if the link text was implemented instead as macro body, then that should appear in the search…

Whenever I've done this, I've used Confluence CLI to create a bash script. Here's an example script: ## Copy https://marketplace.atlassian.com/download/plugins/org.swift.confluence.cli/version/22 to `~/src/bob-swift/confluence-cli-2.6.0` ## ## Open `~/src/bob-swift/confluence-cli-2.6.0/confluence.sh` & swap out the…

You can't I'm afraid. Confluence Cloud does not permit the HTML macro as it's a security vulnerability to allow users the ability to add things like external javascript.

Duplicate question. See: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/I-can-t-seem-to-remove-labels-from-a-page-I-get-an-error-Any/qaq-p/1286782 It looks like your Confluence instance has a component missing which deals with the page labels. If Confluence Server, let your admin know that a REST API module is…

Helen, you can use Google Analytics in Confluence on Cloud, then use the drilldown report in Google Analytics to look at analytics on one space.

I've had this same problem today. I'll tell you how to work this out first, then I'll show you what worked for me. As it's been a while, I did an... atlas-update which gave me the latest version of amps (8.0.2): $ atlas-version ATLAS Version: 8.0.16 ATLAS Home: /path/to/libexec ATLAS Scripts: /path/to/libexec/bin ATLAS…

You cannot do this on Confluence Cloud. Sorry. Also, this method, using Javascript to hide things from anonymous users isn't a very security conscious way of hiding things. They can should be prevented from rendering in the first place.

Try the "..." button on at the top right of the page -- it used to say "Tools", but is now more cryptic

Open a support ticket with Atlassian. If standard Chinese characters cannot be displayed, then it's a problem with the Confluence Cloud platform and Atlassian need to update their internationalisation files to support Chinese users. If you are hoping to use non-standard characters with non-standard fonts, you are likely…

You're probably on Confluence Cloud.

That sounds dangerous. Just think how many emails would get sent if you @Confluence-users 😅

FYI: Here's a link to the "other forum": https://superuser.com/questions/741451/how-do-i-create-vertical-table-headings-in-confuence

No, sorry.

Not sure, but the first one I went to was at the University of London - probably sometime in 2009 or 2010. The last one I presented at was organised by Adaptavist at the National Archives, Kew in spring 2011. Since then, I think Atlassian have wrestled control of the AUGs away from partners and they've become more…

In the Confluence editor, try going to the "+" icon in the toolbar and then select "{ } Markup" and Insert "Conflunece wiki" markup. Using your wiki markup, I get the following: Seems that it works pretty well.

Don't build the URL in the footer page but using Javascript on the actual page. Do something like this: In Confluence Admin | Look and Feel | Custom HTML Add to one of the fields: <script> AJS.toInit(function ($) { if (AJS.params && AJS.params.pageId) { $('#footerEmailLink').attr( 'href', [ AJS.params.baseUrl,…

You can add the page properties macro using this wiki markup: {details}{details} The problem is that the macro body type is RICH_TEXT, so you cannot easily add any content into the body which will be recognised by Confluence. If the body was WIKI_MARKUP, the adding a suitable table would be a piece of cake. 🍰

On Confluence Server: In Confluence Admin | Look and Feel | Custom HTML In At the END of the HEAD, add: <script> AJS.toInit(function ($) { $('#navigation .aui-button:not(#editPageLink) span').each(function () { $(this).html($(this).find('span')); }); }); </script> This will remove the text for all buttons except the Edit…

Yes you can, but it's not easy. Grab the Confluence source code and find the confluence-editor directory. In confluence-editor/src/main/resources/autoformat/wiki-autoformat-oninit-rte.js, replace the following: var emoticons = [ ... ]; with var emoticons = [ new Emoticon(")",…

Hi @A19891023isa * Browse to https://confluence.exmple.com/users/viewmyemailsettings.action - replacing the the domain name with that of your Confluence service * Click on the "Edit" button * Deselect all the items you want to stop receiving email for. I hope that helps 😀

The simple answer here is - You don't. Confluence Cloud won't let you mess with the look and feel - just colour schemes and logos. If you want more power, you have to use Confluence Server. You can really do all manner of good and bad stuff using Server.
-
If it's Confluence Server fronted by Apache or nginx (or anything else) you could just shutdown Confluence and have a catch all/404 page saying "come back in a few days". Or just stand up a fresh web server service with a catch all page.
-
@Helena Nobel If you signed up for Confluence Cloud, then likely there will be an email somewhere in your inbox/mail client explaining where to login. If someone else did this, go and ask them. For Confluence Cloud the format of the web address is almost always: https://yourcompanyname.atlassian.net…

Nice, but for just the links in the children macro to open in a new tab/window, I'd target them specifically: ## @noparams <script> AJS.toInit(function ($) { $('.childpages-macro a').attr('target', '_blank'); }); </script> <ac:structured-macro ac:name="children"/>

Unfortunately, you can only style things in a stylesheet. You cannot change the behaviour of items on the page. To get this working, you'll need to get access to adding Custom HTML to your Confluence Server instance. In Confluence Admin | Look and Feel | Custom HTML Paste the following in At the END of the HEAD field:…

You can use the Include Page macro to distribute the page content from one space into another page in other spaces. This would be a manual approach, but still mean that you can edit is a single space. The only other way you could do this entirely automated is for the links (based on labels) in the microsite spaces to open…

I would look to your Outlook administrators to ensure that the December 2016 update was installed. This article suggests: All Office 365 users in the Current Channel now also have support for SVG graphics in emails and have a new Insert Icons command. Note: This update can be installed via Microsoft Update or the Update…

Hello, Gister: GitHub Gist Macro for Confluence does that if the external file is a Gist. Here's an example. Disclaimer: I am the add-on author/vendor.
