Awesome. I love it when I see Confluence CLI as an answer!

@Katherine Wertz Feel free to upvote/mark as correct the answers + comments that helped ;)

Having fixed any typos in your CSS, be more specific if needed. !important doesn't impress too many people, but has its place. My sledgehammer approach is to up the specificity like a demon: #com-atlassian-confluence h1#title-text { /* your stuff here */} #com-atlassian-confluence h1#title-text a { /* your stuff here */}…

I would expect it to work on Confluence 4.0 as that's what I (quickly) tested it on. If you view-source, can you see the text in the output?
-
Browse to Confluence Admin | Look and Feel | Custom HTML In At the end of the HEAD, paste: <script> AJS.toInit(function(){ AJS.$('#ellipsis strong').click(); });</script> ..then save. This will register a click on the ellipsis on page load.
-
@BJ Yang: It's namespaced as AJS.$ instead of just $ or jQuery.
-
Confluence already includes jQuery. Why add another instance? Can't you just use the slightly older version instead?
-
If you want to be supported, I'd suggest going with a supported platform such as Linux (or Windows). See https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Supported+Platforms for details.

Have all 7 users logged in yet? If not, get the other 3 to log in and then have a look :)

In Confluence Admin | Manage Add-ons type: "Paste" and select "Add Add-Ons" from the dropdown. You have a problem with the "Confluence Paste" plugin and need to ensure that all modules are enabled. If all is good, it should look like this: http://i.minus.com/jOpOSB8AcisqC.png Re-enable all the modules. Fingers crossed.

Jon, Whats the URL of the '404ing' page? You should be able to right click on the page and view page info even in a popup without an address bar. This should give us a clue.
-
Have a look at the Confluence source code, particularly: * com.atlassian.confluence.user.actions.EditMyProfileAction * com.atlassian.confluence.user.actions.UserDetailsMap * /users/editmyprofile.vm Adapt what you find :)
-
Are you copying the pages in alphabetical order? Try copying in the "natural" order that you need - what happens?
-
Great. If it worked, mark it as answered ;)
-
Try something simpler, e.g. a { color: hotpink !important;} Likely the wrapping div.wiki-content is omitted from the PDF view. Edit: Added the !important override for support in Confluence Cloud PDF exports

Host your custom CSS elsewhere and add a link to it using Confluence Admin | Custom HTML | At the End of the HEAD.

I've not noticed a lag problem with the auto complete, but have heard from others on Atlassian Answers that it can be slow. I must admit that I'd like it to just insert a code block when I type {code} or {code:lang=html}, but that's not the current behaviour. I'm sure they'll catch up and improve the editor a lot in…
-
Doesn't the auto complete help you? I just type {code then hit enter. It seems to work better than using my mouse to achieve the same task.

@Alex Holtz: It looks like there's a bug in email notifications - see ANSWERS-117.

@Alex Holtz: Did this help? If so, please vote/mark as answered. Otherwise comment some more :)

So many aspects of Confluence require content indexing with Lucene. e.g. link automcompletion in the rich text editor, the contentbylabel macro and more. Unless you've also replaced this functionality, disable indexing and all this rich functionality is likely to stop working.

This looks like some legacy wording. It used to cost > $0. I started an evaluation of SourceTree exactly 30 days before Atlassian announced that they'd purchased it. So on the day I was due to purchase it, Atlassian reduced the license cost to $0. Nice. That's free as in "free beer" in my mind. I think the existing…

I think also in <confluence_installation>/confluence/decorators/main.vmd...and the equivalent for each theme installed (if necessary)Maybe replacement of the href attribute b JavaScript would be easier?

Disclosure: I wrote the first 2 plugins in the list above :)

There are a few of options available. * AppFusions' Google Analytics for Confluence plugin which works with Confluence 3.5 and 4.0 -- there's a live demo here * AppFusions' Webtrends Connector for Confluence * Adaptavist's Statistical Analysis plugin for Confluence 2.10 to 3.0.2 I did a presentation at the last London…

Yes - great idea - and one of many. Time to roll in these much needed feature. Please write to us and lets make this happen over the summer, with you as first customer of this feature! Keep an eye on our Alfresco in Confluence product page ;)
-
You might like to give the context on this. How are you trying to convert it?

$action.remoteUser.name

If you're on JIRA Studio, likely you can't customise things too much.

Yes, this often works a treat.
